.....all of those who declare they are christian, both protestant and catholic, would cast their vote according to the morals of the Christ whom they declare they follow, the democratic party would have no choice but to ammend their platform to bring it into alignment with God or cease to exist as a force in american politics.

"Those who are not for me are against me" ..... yet Christ is ignored by even those whom He bled and died for.... sad.

Not really. Many Christians believe the choice would be Dem only based on the lie that Republicans do not care about the poor and others of the "least of these".

The Republican candidate is a man who worships a false god and thus the Republican party needs to worry about aligning itself with God. Both parties will continue to exist because both parties are more and more anti-Christ as are the people who support each.

That's similar to what I've been saying all along. If the Christian MAJORITY in this country had cast their votes, in the past, "according to the morals of the Christ" we wouldn't be in this mess today.

We wouldn't have children on this board spewing some of the "stuff" (polite word) we've seen written that questions the faith of every member of the body of Christ.

If Only ...... I keep wondering how many more opportunities our Lord is going to allow us to undo some of what we've allowed to happen, before He says enough is enough? Is it already too late?

Either way, it's not that revelent to me, as I don't have much longer before He calls me home one way or the other. It's much more relevent to the generations behind me, as they'll do more harvesting of what's been sown. If God doesn't bring down this whole stack of cards soon, that is.

    If Only..... :tear:

If only those who have been starting thread after thread about the nominees would get off their lazy backsides (nice term) starting November 7th and work for two decent nominees in 2016, we would not be in this dilemma. However, as in 2008, those that shriek the loudest with slither back under the rock they came from, and there will be three and a half years of deafening silence.

What dilemma? A dilemma says there is some confusion about what to do and God does not author confusion.

There is a dilemma because Christians have convinced themselves that they have to vote for the anti-Christ on the left or the anti-Christ on the right.

Yet God hasn't called us to support that which is against Him.

    There's no dilemma.

Naah partner. I've told you not to vote for the anti-Christ on the right cause he's no better than the anti-Christ on the left. Folks have convinced themselves with this "I'm voting my morals" or for "the lesser of two evils" mess. And somehow deduced they don't have a choice.

you can always choose right when two wrongs are presented.

The country is already under God's judgment and that's perhaps why two anti-Christ candidates were presented.

When presented with two wrongs, you can STILL choose the RIGHT of Christ unless you're more concerned about doing things your way as opposed to His.

There's no dilemma except the one man has orchestrated.

    When have I said there's a dilemma?

Align yourself with God and there's no dilemma.

The left is so very fearful that the evangelical vote will push Romney to a win that they have consistently tried to make his religion a factor, to divide and conquer us on the right. But that is their way, divide and conquer. Unfortunately, there are some who say they are on the right who try to make Mr. Romney's religion a factor, too, so they are really working for obama because the anticipated outcome is the same - and they think they can justify their practice by hoping that the ends justify the means, or some other self perceived justification.

Fortunately, and we shall see - this tack may not work - the evangelical vote may just be the Romney secret vote that takes him to a win, in Ohio and other Swing States, as well. We shall see.

I hope you are right. My elderly mother did not vote in 2008 or 2010 but this time she got an absentee ballot and I witnessed her vote and I mailed it in last week. Hopefully there are millions more like her, esp. in Ohio, Wisconsin, and Florida!
