Did anyone catch the third party debate between the Constitution, Green, Justice, and Libertarian Parties on C-Span?? If so, any comments?

I didn't. If Obama is elected again then in 4 years we will be worse off than Greece or Italy and we might as well have a dozen or so parties, just like they do.

I gave up on third parties earlier this year at the National Convention of the Constitution Party. However, I was interested in what the four had to say. I reject the Libertarian Party for being for legalization of drugs, prostitution and pro abortion. The Green Party is for no defense and more social spending. The Justice is a mix of the Green and Libertarian Party. The Constitution Party is not serious about winning, although I do like their platform.

Why do you say the Constitution Party is not serious?

I am on a email list with the NY Constitution Party. I find them to be absolutely refusing to compromise.

For example, several years ago, when I ran for State Assembly, I told the Constitution Party (for endorsement purposes) that if a bill came up to outlaw abortion except in the case of rape, incest or the life of the mother, I would vote for it. They interpretation was that I was pro-abortion. I tried to explain that I would vote for any bill that would limit abortion.

I watched most of it. The third party debate is always the better debate. Since I am a firm supporter of the third party system (since neither of the major parties are doing anything to worth being elected and are as corrupt as ever) I enjoy hearing their views and viewpoints.

We need a viable third party in the United States. The two major parties are stuck in their trenches (not ideological...its just about winning and gotcha) lobbing grenades and nothing productive is happening. We have major problems for the Federal government to deal with and they won't do it.

I support Virgil Goode, partly because I knew him and helped him campaign while I was in Virginia. He is a fine man and an actual statesman. We need massive change in our country, the third party system is a start.

Because if they were serious the delegates would have bothered to show up at the national convention, and they would have been interested in conducting business instead of having one big party.

He was the only one that stood against legalizing drugs and paying for all college education.
