What will you be munching while waiting for the results to come in, glued to your TV?

Well, I try to be careful what I eat before bedtime, I occasionally suffer from acid reflux. I try to eat healthy snacks like almonds, bananas or fruit. I will sometime eat a small bowl of cereal like raisin bran or cheerios.

I used to love chips, but they are bad for me.

Depends - whatever the Republican Party of Onondaga will be serving. I plan on being there for the big victory Party!! Not only for Pastor Romney - oops I mean President Romney( boy some on this board have really messed with my mind ) and for our Congressman Ann Marie Burkel, who is being challenged by the man she beat 2 years ago. This race is getting national attention as the Dems are hoping to regain the seat.

    Won't be watching, don't care.

By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland. And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.

I will not be watching. This madness has been going on for a year and I simply stopped caring about a year ago.

We will be doing normal evening activities (we don't watch nearly any television) and I've got a nice, thick theology text to read before I turn in at my regular time. I'll wait for everything to be figured out.

    I'll give you my prediction:

After two billion dollars in spending, eighteen months of rhetoric and promises, everything will be the same as it was: divided Congress, re-elected President Obama and nothing will get done for the next two years.

Probably don't need to stay up to watch that insanity.

I may watch the returns for a while, but if tonight is like most, I usually go to bed with the chickens. :sleeping_2:

In the morning, the results will still be the same, whether I stay up and watch or get some shut-eye.

Tomorrow is going to be a hectic day, at best, as it includes choir practice, morning and evening Bible study, and a honey-do list, as well. These old bones need some sleep. :)

Munching depends on when we eat supper. Early and I'll snack on something. Late, it'll be off to bed before the craving for something more sets in.

I'll be in bed- need to be up at 1 a.m., so I guess I'll be snacking on yogurt and eggs as I watch the returns.

In preparation for the national emergency and martial law the president is going to declare if he loses I suggest hoarding instead of feasting.

Uhmmm, I guess I should double check to see if we need another case of water, to tide us over, until we can rig up the manual replacement for our well pump. Bulk propane tank is almost full. Check! Oil lamp wicks trimmed. Check! Wind up radio and flashlights OK. Check! Extra quilts, blankets, and longjohns. Check! Plenty of beans and rice in the pantry. Check!

I'm going to bed with the chickens. :sleeping_2:

Well, I am planning to make spaghetti (homemade sauce, not Ragu) tonight for supper so there probably won't be much snacking going on around here.

Salty, what FUN that would be to be at the Victory Party!! Never had the opportunity to attend one, so hope the eats there are fantastic. Have a great time!!

OT, sounds like you are prepared!!

Thinking about getting up around 0400 (2300 EST) to see how things are going. If that is the case it will be tea and toast.
