    2013: That's when the obamacare mandates for employers kicks in. Already employers are closing their businesses because of obamacare.

    I predict that between the FISCAL CLIFF coming December 31, 2012 in which corporate and individual tax rates will be raised AND the kicking in of the obamacare mandate January 1, 2013, there will be a GIANT SUCKING OF JOBS LEAVING THE US and going overseas for lower corporate tax rates and small employers in the US shutting their doors - resulting in thousands of more jobs lost and higher and higher unemployment rates.

    Because of the Republican and Democratic and Obama agreed to sequestration, thousands of defense jobs are going to be lost, as well.

    But this is what America wanted and this is what America got.

    I can't help but wonder if any of these obama voters ever stopped to think about what will happen when the well runs dry. And it will.

    In 4 more years of obama, our nation will be over $20 Trillion dollars in debt.

    But this is what America wanted and this is what America got.

    A little late to worry about jobs going off shore. Bush already moved half the US manufacturing jobs before Obama applied for his current job.

    You beat me to it. I was going the say that we had a "eight year sucking sound", that was hurricane "Dubya". And look at how Chaney made out looking like a bandit with his corporation over there. He made millions, and some had their heads taken off.....but that's the new american way....get what you can at all cost.......

    Anyway, you "federal minimum wage" state Republicans don't have anything to worry about. YOUR jobs will not be going off shore. You are in the new vanguard leading the way to the new US middle class which will have a median wage of a half buck over federal minimum wage.

    PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME why you people in federal minimum wage states (See, I have resolved to refrain from using the BB list hated word even if the word saves bandwidth.) will NOT have your wages reduced when the rest of the unions are destroyed? Is your personal skill level and personal productivity THAT much higher than the average worker in a union state?

    Why will your pay and benefit package NOT also decrease as the failing "union state" worker's pay falls toward the federal minimum wage? Will your multinational employer conclude that your skill and productivity is 50% higher than their company median wage?

    OK, I agree that those with artistic and other unique manual skills will have a leg up over the pack just as you do now. And those with skilled jobs (plumbers, carpenters, electricians . . . ) will still be working under the table. This will not help you more honest Baptists who always "Give unto the IRS that which is the IRS's . . . ."

    Ah, no, actuallly the first wave of jobs going off shore was NAFTA and then CAFTA - started by Bush Sr. and then finalized and signed by none other than Bill Clinton, that's right, and Speaker Newt Gingrich.

    Both parties have sold American jobs down the pike.

    But the Democrats alone are responsible for Obamacare, the final nail in the American jobs coffin. Third world country, here comes America. (For a preview, take a look at Staten Island or Long Island and the failure of FEMA (federal government) so far - some have gone for days without ever seeing a FEMA presence - and this same federal government is going to manage your (and my) health care. Helloooooo.

    Its our own fault. If we want jobs in the US then we need to make the US more hospitable to companies to exist in the states. We need to make sure regulations and taxes are in an area where the jobs will come back. Liberals cannot have it both ways.
