Gen. 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Ge 8:21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.

Jer 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Mt 15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

Mr 7:21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

Mr 7:23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

Mt. 5:21 ¶ Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment:

Mt. 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

In light of these scriptures is it possible to sin only IN THE HEART without EXTERNALLY committing murder and adultery?

Is there any heart that does not "come short" of the glory of God? Remember, to come short is to fail to measure up to God's own personal righteousness, which is his HOLINESS or the "glory of God."

The problem is that NO ONE in power believes what you have quoted. Since 1776 has any US political convention or legislative body began with an official recognition that the delegates were evil? Most every group since Plymouth Rock has had the belief that their leaders were good people who could impose moral order by passing laws. Isn't that the belief of most BB people?????????? Obama drives you all crazy because you think you all are more moral than Obama when in fact every one of us is evil in our hearts. Some hide it better than others. Offhand, I know very few Christians who are NOT Pharisees. I'm a Pharisee but at least I know it.

Are you on medication or something? Are you even responding to my post??? Are you going to tell us that politicians must accept God's Word in order for it to be true or for me to use it as truth?????

Obviously, yes, it is is possible. Do you believe that you have actually committed these deeds in real time?

I will not ask you to name your murder victims because there is no statute of limitations on murder but adultery is a civil matter. With whom have you committed adultery? Clear your conscience and 'fess up.

If you or any other man on this forum denies that you have never "looked" upon a woman with lust you are a liar. According to Christ, that look of lust violates the command "thou shalt not commit adultery" WITHOUT committing the external action. And, no, I have never committed the external act of adultery or murder.
