Many have made jokes about Obama and his community organizer background, but the truth is, I salute him for cleverly massaging the minority groups of this nation into one huge juggernaut. A juggernaut that got him elected over a highly controversial and questionable conservative.

When you look at what Obama did over his first four years, history will have to give him credit for forcing the healthcare act down the throats of the majority of Americans. That one piece of legislation brought a ton of Obama supporters to his side.

However, he didn't stop there. He reversed the "Don't ask, don't tell!" policy, and came out in support of gay marriage. He also rallied those who see their citizenship as one big entitlement, and cleverly brought the Hispanics [both illegal and legal] on board as he passed [illegal as it was] the two-year moratorium on deporting illegal immigrants, and promised that in his second term, he'd get immigration reform on the table and passed.

I can almost assure you that whether you agree with amnesty or not, he will get immigration reform passed.

Of course, he always had the black vote [whether he did a good job or not, they stuck with their man], so if you think about it, he rallied numerous minority groups during his first four years [groups the RNC dumped], and in the end it meant he'd retire from office as a two-term president.

Quite an accomplishment for a community organizer. His professors at Harvard, Columbia, and Occidental must be terribly proud of him, because I am impressed, even though I don't like his politics!

He may be just the smartest man to sit in DC in years. Next to Bush that is [hehehehe]

It isn't hard to rouse the rabble. Absalom was a "community organizer."

    Respectfully disagree with you.

It's the folks behind his teleprompter who are the smartest people to sit in DC. And, they've been there for years. When the time was right, they groomed their mouthpiece to "fundamentally change" this nation. Even a wooden puppet can dance, when the puppet master(s) pulls the correct strings.

Or Romney failed at cleverly massaging the white groups.

    I was...

....trying to find something about Obama to be positive about. We all know that it is never the POTUS that does the work It is the little people he hires that make him look presidential and, well, acceptable and electable.

When I worked for the state, we always got letters sent to the state Senate, assembly or governor (priority mail) from people with concerns and complaints about our departments work with the public (social services) My job as a unit manager was to respond to the letters, basically people we confronted for one reason or another, and they got angry and wrote Sacramento.

In turn, I wrote a response to the letter, and the official whose office received the letter, signed it and returned it making the angry camper a bit happier because they exercised their rights and told our bosses on us. Little did they know; their letter probably never even touched the official's hand. How sad!

    Again, I somewhat disagree. :)

FWIW, I've been in that "little people" group, too. Twice, in my former life, did basically the same thing. In one of them, there was no "probably" about it. Their angry complaints were never forwarded to higher ups, as canned responses had already been prepared. My job was to convert those responses into personal sounding replies.

In this case, it isn't the "little people" pulling the strings. Sure, there are "little people" who have jobs to make him look good. However, I'm talking about the puppet Masters who actually control both him and his "little people". They are the smartest people in DC.
