What keeps us believing in Christ as Savior? Is it something ultimately in ourselves or something ultimately in God? What would be the ultimate cause of our failure to believe? Is it something lacking in us or something lacking in our Savior? Whatever that ultimate source is, was it ever an object of salvation by Christ?

It takes God to turn someone, we won't turn to Him by ourselves. When God turns a man, he's turned.

Same guy who posted porn on this site, make sexual attacks on various male and female members on this site. Booted off five different times under five different names and loves to just tell lies purposely to ruin the reputation of others. Manufactured a confession of sins and signed my name to it and posted on every forum he could think of.

It is assuring to know that our salvation is based upon God's immutable covenant of redemption and that we are objects of eternal and unchangable love in spite of ourselves.

All hinges on IF God lection of us to salvation is sure or not, if conditional or not, if jesus died an actual propiation/or just a potential to save us one!

Christ actually satisfied the law's righteous demand by his righteous life. Christ satisfied the Law's penalty of sin by his death - thus it was an actual propitiation of all of God's demands. According to elective application Christ died for his elect.

Green is good, indicates healing. Jesus loved the color green so He made it the color of grass and trees

The OP asked, "What keeps us believing in Christ as Savior?"

More times than not, it is when we are under persecution, tribulations and such. We tend to forget Him from the heart, when things are going well for us though we are still acknowledging Him from the mind. Our lips tend to have His words on them btu our hearts can be far from Him.

We are in agreemet on this, but some would NOT see it that way, as to them its up to us to save us, and we would also have a "conditional" salvation, depending how obedient we remained!

Who has ever posted this? It's time for you to prove what you post, and not just give us "baseless generalities". No one has posted anything of the sort in the 5+ years I've been on here, that I'm aware of.

You never have read postings that state that we have total free will still left to us, that we can freely decide to accept/reject jesus, and that based upon what WE decide to do, God reacts to us?

What posts are you referring to? Don't just post your thoughts and/or opinions, give us proof of what you're saying here. Dig'em up, and let me see what they're saying. I know of no one on here who has stated they can walk towards God w/o the Spirit working with them to come.

Again, show me your proof of what the posters said. We react to God after Gods first acts upon us, and not vice versa. Dig up some proof of someone/anyone who believes we can act seperate of the Holy Ghost's prompting.

I have no idea where all of this came from based on the original question, but IMO, God convicted me through His Spirit. I could not have figured that out on my own. After salvation, the Spirit residing in me guides me, prompts me how to pray, sets up circumstances to tell others about the Gospel, but most of all, keeps me in line (most of the time) towards becoming more like Jesus. It is nothing I do under my own power from start to finish.

I never realized about the green dot until this thread. I am not a technical person in regards to computers, but how does anyone know if someone is using two names. One of the posters gave very detailed information about Dr. Walters. If that was true, then how could a person that has been banned use another name on the same computer, if it is so easy to detect?

Couldn't agree more. He promised NEVER to leave or forsake us and heaven knows how many times we have left him and forsaken him even on a daily basis where we did not include him in our decisions or acknowledge him before speaking and making decisions (Prov. 3:5-7). His love is unconditional love and his promise is according to the everlasting "covenant" which excludes us as one of the covenanting parties and thus it is an agreement to never leave us or forsake us not based upon our responses but only upon His committment to us to complete the work He began in us (Philip. 1:6).

I couldn't agree more with your statement. You are the object of being saved while He is the subject of doing the saving.

The problem is the devil was in the details because the details had no truth to them. The same person posted a confession and took upon himself to sign Dr. Walter's name to it as though Dr. Walters had written it himself and signed it. This person is hell bent on attempting to ruin the reputation of Dr. Walters for personal reasons regardless of what he has to invent. He also charged Dr. Walter with being a homosexual among other obvious lies. Most obvious lie was his faked concern about Dr. Walter's alzheimer's wife who he took and posted a porn picture on this forum saying it was Dr. Walter's wife. If people can't see through somebody like this they can't see at all.
