Stock up on food and mostly on fuel. This will cause a huge fuel shortage.

In Advance Of The Retaliation: Gaza Missile Range Infographic

With Israel having launched the biggest Gaza escalation in years, the waiting game now turns to the Gaza retaliation, which if the rhetoric is any indication, will be substantial. So what can Gaza do, and how far can its rockets penetrate, assuming they can bypass the Israeli "Iron Dome" defense shield? The following infographic from Stratfor explains it. The ranging is particularly relevant in the context of the Dimona nuclear power plant, which at least at first blush appears unreachable - after all, if Gaza really wanted to unleash the gates of hell on Israel, it would focus all of its firepower precisely on this one spot.

JERUSALEM – Israel moved closer to an all-out ground war with Hamas Thursday, as Israeli planes, tanks and gunboats pounded suspected militant positions in Gaza in retaliation for another day of Hamas rocket attacks that left at least three Israelis dead.

Israel began moving troops toward the Gaza Strip and authorized the call-up of reservists for a possible ground invasion of the Palestinian territory.

At least a dozen trucks carrying tanks and armored vehicles were seen late Thursday moving toward the border area, while buses ferried soldiers.

Defense Minister Ehud Barak announced that he had authorized the army to draft reserve forces for possible activity in Gaza. The army said as many as 30,000 troops could be drafted. Military officials said the moves were preparations for a possible ground operation, but no decision has been made on whether to enter Gaza.

Earlier, Tel Aviv residents say they heard an explosion following an air-raid alert across the city, raising fears of a Gaza rocket strike on Israel's commercial capital.

War implies that there would two sides fighting. If Israel decided to fight, full fledged, it would be over in a matter of hours.

I wonder if Hamas is feeling a little more spunky with another four years of a dove in the WhiteHouse. I'm sure Israel is not going to wait on Obama to retaliate if the attacks escalate. It will be interesting to see how both sides move on. We've all seen this before and nothing seems to get too out of hand as far as the ME goes. Time will tell.

I read that Egypt is thinking of joinng the fray, to join up with Hamas, of course. Bibi looks very tired, very sad.

I emailed the Israeli embassy and told them there are millions of Christian Americans standing with Israel, in spite of our election results.

Bet they'd rather have millions of our warm bodies standing in front them instead.

Funny you should say that... The only times Americans have been involved in fighting has been withor on behalf of the Islamic countries. Israel has taken our money and used it for the purpose it was given - their own self defense. Then put their own bodies into battle.

They believe that they ought to defend their own land.

Hey if Hamas and Egypt attack and kill many Israelies our administration can blame it on the anti-muslim video again and it will be justified with no need for the USA to get involved.

I believe everyone ought to have a right to defend their own land.

Who was it that wanted Saddam out of the way? The neocons. Who are the neocons?

Who's bodies are in harms way in Iraq?

Who wanted Qaddafi out of the way? The neocons. Who are the neocons?

Who stepped in harms way to protect the terrorists in Libya?

Who wants Assad out the way? The neocons. Who are the neocons?

Who's going to be stepping into harm's way to help the terrorists in Syria?

You conveniently forget the enormous amount of control the neocons have over our foreign policy Tom. Our kids put their bodies on the line for the neocons everyday we're in the middle east and who are the neocons?

Something some of you have not taken into consideration here. If this spills over into Syria, don't be surprise if China, Pakistan, and Russia side with Iran and the reat of the Muslims.

Bingo...but the most ardent amil / preterist at that time will still just dismiss it all as pure coincidence. I don't even think an audible voice from heaven at this point will change their thinking. The signs are so stinking clear! Whoever has the oil is the true ally.

My opinion: from the Hamas side they've been at war for years, including all of the year 2012. I just got the newsletter of a friend who has a ministry in Israel. He writes, "Since January 2012, 1,333 Hamas rockets have hit Israel. According to Israelproject.org 325 Hamas rockets hit Thursday, November 15, 2012."

I was in a missionary conference this year with this man, and he showed a video of the rocket bombing. On and near the border, kids in schools have just ten seconds of warning before the rocket hits. That's ten seconds to get downstairs to the safe basement, sometimes from the 2nd or 3rd floor. The video showed Israeli children and adults in total shock after bombs hit, able to do nothing but stand or sit and tremble. But does the US media show this stuff? Never.

Because of this war, literally millions and millions of Israeli children go to bed hungry every night. The Israeli government must put all their money into defense, so a large percentage of Israelis are in dirt poor, 3rd world situtations.

We've got it so much better over here? How many of our children will go to bed hungry tonight so our government can keep pumping billions into our global war machine? And all to aid a bunch of Islamic terrorists that'll turn on us as soon as our back it turned?

Face it man we need those terrorists stirred up and threatening us and lobbing rockets at Israel so our leaders can justify taking money that should go to help the poor and building better infrastructure for both our nations so they can give it to the transnational weapons contractors and an army of petty dictators around the world that don't give a tinker's toot about any of us.
