When one is born again (from above), the Holy Spirit comes INSIDE (7 passages)

“… that He may abide with you forever -- the Spirit of truth … you know Him,
for He dwells with you and will be in you.” (John 14:16-17)
“But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit,
if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you.” (Romans 8:9)
“But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you
… through His Spirit who dwells in you.” (Romans 8:11)
“Do you not know that you are the temple of God
and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” (1 Corinthians 3:16)
“And because you are sons, God has sent forth
the Spirit of His Son into your hearts …” (Galatians 4:6)
“That good thing which was committed to you,
keep by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.” (2 Timothy 1:14)
“And by this we know that He abides in us,
by the Spirit whom He has given us.” (1 John 3:24)
But, this has nothing to do with being “filled” with the Holy Spirit.

When one is baptized with the Holy Spirit, the Spirit comes UPON (7 passages)

“Behold, I (will) send the promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem
until you are endued with (spiritual) power from on high.” (Luke 24:49)

Luke gives more details about the above verse:
“He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father
… you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit … you shall receive (spiritual) power when the
Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me … to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:4-8)

“When the Day of Pentecost had fully come … Then there appeared to them divided tongues,
as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit
and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” (Acts 2:1-4)

“… the Holy Spirit fell upon all those (Gentiles) who heard the word
… the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also.
For they (Peter and his companions) heard them speak with tongues and magnify God.
Then Peter asked, ‘Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be
baptized (in water) who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?’ ” (Acts 10:44-48)

Peter recalls the experience with the Gentiles above:
“… the Holy Spirit fell upon them (the Gentiles), as upon us (the Jews) at the beginning.
Then I remembered the word of the Lord, how He said, ‘John indeed baptized with water,
but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’ … God gave them the same gift
as He gave us when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ …” (Acts 11:15-17)

“… they (the Ephesian disciples) were (water) baptized in the
name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands upon them,
the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied …” (Acts 19:5-6)

Normally, manifestations confirm the baptism with the Holy Spirit:
“Now when the apostles who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had
received the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them*, who when
they had come down, prayed for them* that they* might receive the Holy Spirit.
For as yet He (the Holy Spirit) had fallen upon none of them*.
They* had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Then they laid hands on them*, and they* received the Holy Spirit.
And when Simon saw that through the laying on of hands the Holy Spirit
was given, he offered them money …”(Acts 8:14-18) * the Samarians
The Samarians had received, believed, and had been water-baptized.
Peter and John laid hands on them and prayed that they be Spirit-baptized.
And poor Simon saw the results.

Key words in the 7 passages above:
Luke 24:49 (future) -- upon, power
    Acts 1:4-8 (future) ---- upon, power, H.S.baptism
Acts 2:1-4 ---------------- upon, tongues, filled
    Acts 8:14-18 –----------- upon
    Acts 10:44-48 ---------– upon, tongues
    Acts 11:15-17 –--------- upon, H.S.baptism
    Acts 19:5-6 -------------- upon, tongues

The baptism with the Holy Spirit is an ANOINTING for a special task or service.

What happened to the ever-present anti-Christ spirit ... coming against God's precious spiritual Truths?
    I miss it, i.e. them.

When one focuses entirely on one single spiritual aspect it reveals a lack of balance and maturity.

First, you don't distinguish indwelling of individuals (1 Cor. 6:17) as temples of the Holy Spirit versus the corporate body of baptized believers (1 Cor. 3:16). So your listing is skewed where you dealing with indwelling.

Second, your emphasis with "upon" and "on" demonstrates the Holy Spirit's work BEFORE Pentecost is the same as AFTER Pentecost and so much for the argument that the Holy Spirit came "upon" people previous to pentecost but indwells them after Pentecost.

Third, you confused the baptism in the Spirit which indeed comes "upon" the house of God covering it (Ex. 40:35; 2 Chron. 7:3; Acts 2:1-3) with individualing filling of the Spirit. The baptism and filling are distinguished in Acts 2:1-3 as the church was immersed with the Spirit as the Spirit filled THE ROOM wherein they were sitting as opposed to filling INDVIDUALS sitting in the room.

Fourth, you confused spiritual gifts through the imparation of apostolic hands with the baptism in the Spirit when no one but Apostles performed MSW in Acts 2-6:5.

Fifth, you simply do not know what you are writing about.

Sixth, millions upon millions (all over da world) who are Spirit-filled know what I'm talking about.
But, since you aren't, you don't.
    Extremely simple.

If one takes a careful look at the MAJORITY holding your views their spirituality is very superficial as more division, confusion, immorality exists within this movement, not to mention every single solitary person who has claimed to be a prophet or apostle has failed the prophetic tests of scripture.

NEWS FLASH!! MSW are not evidence of spirituality. Tongues are not evidence of spirituality. The supposed baptism in the spirit/slain in the spirit are not evidence of spirituality.

1 Cor. 3:1 ¶ And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

The FRUIT of the spirit is evidence of spirituality and that comes with a mature understanding of God's Word - 1 Pet. 2:2; 2 Pet. 1:5-8; Gal. 5:23

Anointing in the Old Testament was for only the prophet, priest and king as symbolic of the threefold-office of the Christ (anointed one).

In the New Testament the term "anointed" is never used for Christians but only for the person of Christ and never used at all in connection with the baptism in the Spirit - never, not once.

As far as the words "pour out" and "on" and "upon" in regard to the Spirit they are used in the Old as well as the New Testament but the baptism in the Spirit began on Pentecost and so that langauge cannot signify the baptism in the Spirit.

I agree wholeheartedly with this post, especially the part I put in bold.

Further, love is the greatest spiritual gift, and that excludes the arrogance and spiritual superiority accompanying Charismania. And I say that as one who believes in the present-day operation of all the gifts mentioned in the NT. But I strongly disagree with the Pentecostal/Charismatic doctrine and practice of the gifts, as well as their doctrine of the baptism with the Holy Spirit.

I have edited your post. But any one who accuses another with these words

demonstrates that he does not have the fruit of the Spirit, and possibly not the Holy Spirit Himself. From which spirit do you speak?

There are 2 types of people who fight against God's spiritual truths:
    1) those with anti-Christ spirits
    2) those who are ignorant of the truth

Do we have anyone here who doesn't agree with this?
Please, don't all write at once.

The problem is there are no true children of God who know everything and are not ignorant about many thiings

Second, you never provided that option in your disputed post but YOU past judgment those who disagreed with your interpretation have the anti-christ spirit!

The issue is who made YOU judge and jury in determining who are merely ignorant and who are antichrist in spirit?
