Sandy Victim Says President Didn’t Follow Through on Promise to Help

    After Hurricane Sandy hit along the New Jersey Shore and throughout New York City, President Obama traveled to the effected area and delivered a message to both victims and the federal government, advising the fed to use “no bureaucracy, no red tape … get resources where they’re needed as fast as possible.” To the victims, he promised assistance. “We are standing behind you and we are going to do everything we can to help you get back on your feet.”

    It was that same day that an emotional embrace between the president and a New Jersey businesswoman, Donna Vanzant, was caught on camera and shared around the world. It’s a photo of which Vanzant now says, “It’s frustrating for me that that picture is even out there right now.”

    I say Bush didn't follow through to help every "victim" of Katrina. This a more or a less idiotic conclusion that the message that the IP wishes to convey? Mabe about equally idiotic?

    What she wants is for the government to sweep in and buy her new docks, new bulkheads and new equipment. Sorry honey, not gonna happen. You're lucky they give you a loan at a discounted interest rate. These things happen and without insurance, you're not going to suddenly be handed cash!!

    This is the mentality of the obama voter. Somebody has to pay for the freebies and eventually the freebies do run out. But the big promises and lies of freebies secured his spot in the oval office for 4 more years. This is what America wanted and this is what America got. He used her for the photo op.
