    ...The country and those in the know, are slowly preparing the citizens of this nation for the merger of America, Mexico and Canada! As I've said before [like others on this board], the idea of the three becoming the America's is closer than any of us may want to believe!

    BTW - it was my wife who pointed this out to me in today's paper. She is skeptical about my concerns, but, today, she admitted that maybe I was on to something.

    Please read the attached article, and note the reference to "Golden West Region Governor of Soroptimist International of the Americas" in paragraph number three.

    This is not the first time I've seen this reference, but I did take the time to attach the article to this post.

    The word 'governor' is not only a political designation. This woman is merely in charge of one of 28 geographic regions of a private organisation which helps young women in North and South America with scholarships etc.

    Don't see how this organisation have a new regional director has anything the do with the supposed American Union.

    Dude,

    I don't follow this kind of stuff very closely but I'm more worried about our current administartion giving over our soveriegn powers to the UN. There is a lot of wickedness within the UN, but Obama would score BIG points on the worlds stage if he would just hand over some controls to the UN.

    I'd never heard of them, until this thread started. Was time to pull out a search engine.

    Most of the time when I hear the word "collective" I want to run the other way. Whether's it's Obama's "collective salvation" or anything that is referencing the United Nations.

    If the US dissolves into 50 sovereign nations then each of the 50 could apply for UN membership. <G>

    It doesn't have to impact our faith in order for it to be deemed a bad idea. You don't fix a sinking ship by making it heavier.


    We should note that it is a very real possibility that Britain will be leaving the EU. I do not understand why so many people here think we should be more like Europe when those policies are failing there.

    Don't worry. The US has a tradition of breaking treaties.
