Is the Church Soft on Sin?

The Church has not repented and the wickedness that scales our eyes prevents us from acknowledging our wickedness as such because we think its okay if the "greater good" is served in the midst of our direct disobedience.

The Church has not disciplined.
The Church has not acknowledged certain sins as sin while putting other sins on blast. Hypocrisy.

Really all one has to do is go back and look at ancient Israel and what they "didn't" do. We're repeating it.

There's so much that only the hand of God will fix it.

 

"Whatsoever is not of faith---------------------------is sin.

We do err when we do not put the unrepented church member on the shunning list. A little leaven will leaven the whole lump.

Discipline does not make for large congregations.

The church is in error by focusing on sin. Sin was dealt with at the cross. All sin, past present and future has been paid for in full by Jesus. The church should focus on the gift of righteousness. Condemnation is no longer valid for the body of Christ. We are sons and daughters of the Most High, the Father. It is our identity that Satan lies about, calling us sinners stuck and seemingly forever depraved. When a man fully accepts the gift, he can truthfully declare he is righteous before God, and sin will release its hold. Or, the church can continue to apply the law to Christians sinning. This will produce more sin, because the strength of sin, is the law.
