RICHMOND, Va. – Virginia officials scored a key victory Thursday in their battle with the Environmental Protection Agency over what EPA critics describe as a land takeover.

U.S. District Judge Liam O'Grady in Alexandria ruled late Thursday that the EPA exceeded its authority by attempting to regulate stormwater runoff into a Fairfax County creek as a pollutant. O'Grady sided with the Virginia Department of Transportation and the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, which challenged EPA's stormwater restrictions

"Stormwater runoff is not a pollutant, so EPA is not authorized to regulate it," O'Grady said.

What puzzles me is why such simple things like this have to be explained to liberals.

    It's simple.

It isn't about explaining things to liberals. It's about reminding conservatives:

Give an inch and he'll take a mile.

I have to agree. When we compromise the first time we are in trouble. If a conservatives is correct he should stand for conserving the law or teaching if he isn't correct he should be leading the pack to change it.

Liberals for the most part live for change, they are open to challenge anything from law to God. Many educator fall into this group, they are open minded to many things.

Liberals are good at compromise, the come and get 5 to 10 percent of what they want and then do it over and over till they have 90 to 100 percent of what they want.
