Rebinding or Fixing Bibles

    Many of us have old Bibles with years of notes them. Eventually, it seems sooner lately, the back binder gives out, and the Book starts to split in half. I was wondering, what kind of experience does anyone have with having their Bible rebound and fixed up to preserve the notes? Also, where did you get it done and how much did it cost?

    Most probably just put the Bible up and get a new one, starting over. I often regret the number of years I wasted before starting to be interested enough to put notes in my Bible.

    Last time I had one done it was pretty reasonable but it was a hard-cover Bible- I'm thinking I paid about $20-25. But that was about 10 years ago.

    Think for a GOOD job, looking at at least cowhide, proabably 100-150 dollars!

    Would consider the www.localchurchbiblepublishers.com for a new Bible, as heard that they have excellent bibles ranging from 50-75 dollars! KJV only, but looks like a really good deal!

    Leonard's Book Restoration fixed mine right up. New pigskin cover and other fixes.
