How is Obama getting away with this?

According to FCC rules this is illegal: (PDF file - see page 11)

A campaign spending review shows the Obama camp frequently spent far less than Romney for ads aired by the same stations during the same shows.

For example, a review of TV station filings with the Federal Communications Commission showed Romney, on the Sunday before Election Day, paid $1,100 for an ad aired during CBS's "Face the Nation" program on WRAL in Raleigh, North Carolina. Obama paid $200 for a comparable ad on the same station during the same program.

    Yes, it's illegal.

But since when has Obama ever cared about the legality of his actions?

The globalists control the media and Obama is their friend. Friends of the globalists have special privileges.

Romney wanted to be friends with the globalists so he could enjoy special privileges but the people who supported him also supported the second amendment.

So, the globalists chose Obama instead. The globalists know that an armed population is much harder to enslave than a disarmed population. Just ask King George III he learned that lesson first hand.

That is the exact cause of the problem. We the people elected our leaders, and only we can get rid of them. As citizens, we choose the media to watch. If everyone would hit the off switch, their power would go away.

Now you know why I will not watch WRAL news (or any other programming). Stopped watching it in '08 when they dropped all pretense of not being pro Obama. This development doesn't surprise me. It fits the pattern of "change" that I've seen, first hand, since the days it went on the air.

Times have changed, folks. Jesse Helms came into the public eye on WRAL as their editorial commentator.

    Unless God intervenes... that is.

So when they heard that, they raised their voice to God with one accord and said: "Lord, You are God, who made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them, who by the mouth of Your servant David have said: ' Why did the nations rage, And the people plot vain things? The kings of the earth took their stand, And the rulers were gathered together Against the LORD and against His Christ.' "For truly against Your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done. Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus." And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

Should one who hates justice govern? Will you condemn Him who is most just? Is it fitting to say to a king, 'You are worthless,' and to nobles, 'You are wicked'? Yet He is not partial to princes, nor does He regard the rich more than the poor; for they are all the work of His hands. In a moment they die, in the middle of the night; the people are shaken and pass away; the mighty are taken away without a hand. For His eyes are on the ways of man, and He sees all his steps. There is no darkness nor shadow of death where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves. For He need not further consider a man, that he should go before God in judgment. He breaks in pieces mighty men without inquiry, and sets others in their place. Therefore He knows their works; He overthrows them in the night, and they are crushed. He strikes them as wicked men In the open sight of others, because they turned back from Him, and would not consider any of His ways, so that they caused the cry of the poor to come to Him; for He hears the cry of the afflicted.

Now Herod had been very angry with the people of Tyre and Sidon; but they came to him with one accord, and having made Blastus the king's personal aide their friend, they asked for peace, because their country was supplied with food by the king's country. So on a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat on his throne and gave an oration to them. And the people kept shouting, "The voice of a god and not of a man!" Then immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give glory to God. And he was eaten by worms and died. But the word of God grew and multiplied.

Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, saying: "There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, 'Get justice for me from my adversary.' And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, 'Though I do not fear God nor regard man, yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.'" Then the Lord said, "Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?"

The Republic is already gone. It was gone when we allowed someone other than a "natural born citizen" to be POTUS.

After taking a good look at everything - could be that Obama (and/or his campaign) was not at fault -

and here is why - it is unlikely that either campaign knew how much the other was paying.

Therefore, with the limited info I have - Its possible that the TV station was at fault.

Therefore, the TV station should reimburse the Romeny campaign the difference of $900. In addition the station should be fined by the FCC at an appropriate amount. The amount would be based on circumstances - even it was it an honest mistake (if proven).

The stations I have worked at have had very strict policies on political advertising.
