A detailed analysis of FBI statistics covering ten full calendar years since the 9/11 terrorist attacks reveals that, on a per capita basis, American Muslims, contrary to spin, have been subjected to hate crimes less often than other prominent minorities. From 2002 to 2011, Muslims are estimated to have suffered hate crimes at a frequency of 6.0 incidents per 100,000 per year – 10 percent lower than blacks (6.7), 48 percent lower than homosexuals and bisexuals (11.5), and 59 percent lower than Jews (14.8). Americans should keep these numbers in mind whenever Islamists attempt to silence critics by invoking Muslim victimhood.

What a surprise. One of the creators of Islamophobia saying Muslims are crazy for believing they are the target of Islamophobia.

David J. Rusin is a Research Fellow at Islamist Watch, which exposes and combats the ideas and institutions of nonviolent radical Islam throughout the Western world. Previously he served as a research associate with the project.

With roots going back to 1990, the Middle East Forum has been an independent tax-exempt 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization based in Philadelphia since 1994.
    Mission

The Middle East Forum promotes American interests in the Middle East and protects the Constitutional order from Middle Eastern threats.
The Forum sees the region — with its profusion of dictatorships, radical ideologies, existential conflicts, border disagreements, corruption, political violence, and weapons of mass destruction — as a major source of problems for the United States. Accordingly, it urges active measures to protect Americans and their allies.

U.S. interests in the Middle East include fighting radical Islam; working for Palestinian acceptance of Israel; robustly asserting U.S. interests vis-à-vis Saudi Arabia; developing strategies to deal with Iraq and contain Iran; and monitoring the advance of Islamism in Turkey.

Domestically, the Forum combats lawful Islamism; protects the freedom of public speech of anti-Islamist authors, activists, and publishers; and works to improve Middle East studies in North America. source

Long story short the MEF supports the "community of internationalists" global policy of invading Muslim countries, using Muslim extremists to start civil wars and overthrow governments that threaten the global financial elite's interests. They don't have a problem with "dictatorships, radical ideologies, existential conflicts, border disagreements, corruption, political violence, and weapons of mass destruction" when they work in their favor.

What I'm saying is what I have been saying all along.

Neocons like this guy are the original authors of "Islamophobia" they hyped the threat, hyped the threat, hyped the threat, then turned around and hyped the threat some more.

The same as the neocons hyped the threat of terrorism. They hyped the threat, hyped the threat, hyped the threat, then turned around and hyped the threat some more.

Why? To instill fear in us and mold public opinion against Muslims.

And now this article comes out saying Muslim's fears were all in their heads? While that may be true "statistically" it was people like the author of this article that helped instill that fear by hyping the threat, hyping the threat, hyping the threat, then turning around and hyping the threat some more. All the hype was aimed at us. To make us fear and hate Muslims. And for the most part it worked so it's little wonder Muslims feared for their safety.

It's a mind game as old as war and I've watched the majority of people here and in my own community fall for it hook, line and sinker time in and time out.

It's no different than all the hype being pumped out against guns, gun owners and gun ownership today. Although it's coming from the left this time it's the very same game.

They hype the threat, hype the threat, hype the threat, then turn around and hype the threat some more.

Why? To instill fear in us (gun owners) and mold public opinion against gun owners and gun ownership.

Then they say "your fears are unfounded, we're not coming after your guns, it's all in your head, silly gun owners".
