College of the Open Bible, South Carolina

    When you hit a drop box - it takes you to that page - another words there is only on page per "drop box"

    Same thing happened to me. This seems to be a poorly designed web site. The designer wants you to order a dead tree catalog.

    Dr. Arthur Belanger is listed as the Chancellor and evidently the sole teacher of the school.

    Reading the mission statement it seems to me that calling this a college is a stretch. And I don't think that is a bad thing. The fact is education is a good thing. However not everyone needs a full blown degree from an accredited college or seminary. Their website basically says that.

    Many churches, including the one I attend now, are looking for ways to disciple people, develop leaders, and prepare people for ministry. The reality is very little of that can happen in 1 hour of Sunday school and a 30 minute sermon each week. So, we develop tools to do what God has called us to do....make disciples. Call them seminars, call them classes, whatever you want, but the goal is a good one.

    The main problem I see:

    No info on "Dr." Belanger's educational background or fitness (doctrinally or character-wise) for even being a teacher.
