Biden on self-defense: Get yourself a shotgun

    “You have an individual right to own a weapon both for recreation, for hunting and also for your self-protection,” he said. "But just as you don’t have an individual right to go out and buy an F-15—if you’re a billionaire—with ordnance on it, just like you don’t have the right to buy an M-1 tank, just like you don’t have a right to buy an automatic weapon" you should not be able to get other weapons for which there is "no reasonable societal justification, or constitutional justification."

    What a load of noxious gas this guy is.

    What about the history of tyrants murdering millions after they've been disarmed? What about all the justifications the founders themselves used when composing the second amendment to the constitution?

    I'll tell what OR I cannot see how anyone could listen to this guy and not be offended by how he views everyone as idiots.

    No constitutional justifications? Really? He knows better.

    Being raise in rural areas, I can't think of a home that didn't have a shotgun by the bed at night and by the main chair in the living room. So many of the farmers wouldn't leave home without a shotgun by them in the pickup truck.
    I'm not a fan of his, but he is an older man so he might be thinking old school. As my father use to say, you don't have to be a good shot, just point in the general direction and you will do yourself a lot of good.

    A 00 buckshot shell has eight or nine .33 pellets times the five shells in the 1100.... That's like getting 45 rounds out of a .32 Colt ACP in a matter of seconds. I hope nobody in Albany or DC does the math or evil shotgun owners will be on the run.

    My friend, I believe you are correct. They use to say when I was in HS if you were trying to scare someone, you used a hand gun if you were tying to kill someone you used a shot gun maybe even a sawed off shotgun.
    Yes, if they figure it out they will run the shotgun man out of town without his gun.

    I don't know poncho. I used to enjoy watching him at committee hearings. He would get that mouth wound up and would never get around to his question before his time ran out! Priceless!

    During the Los Angeles riots, Koreans got up on the roofs of their businesses and used assault rifles to repel the rioters. In case of civil disorder, God Forbid, I should think that a rifle would be better than a shot gun.
