How many days a week do you want the Post Office to deliver mail to your home and/or your business?

    5 is certainly OK.

    3 might be.

I can handle three or four.

If someone needed to send something with priority (legal documents, etc) they could/should use something like DHL or FedEx critical.

The USPS is a good and needed service. We just don't need it as much. Besides, over the past three weeks 75% of our home mail has been junk or unsolicited offers (credit cards, refinance, etc.)

Once a week is OK by me, as long as bill collectors allow enough lead time, so I'm not late in paying my bills.

The social aspect of using mail to keep in touch with friends and family has all but disappeared. Who writes letters anymore? Many have stopped sending greeting cards, preferring other methods to say happy birthday.

Once a week is often enough to shift through the junk for a few pieces of mail that have value, whether bills or a magazine or two. I've waited all my life for that particular issue of Backwoods Home. Another day or two doesn't amount to a hill of beans.

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays would be fine by me. Once a week wouldn't cut it because we still send out greeting cards for birthdays and bills need to be received more frequently than every seven days.

Home delivery should be Mon-Fri, and the Post Office should be open on Sat for people to pick up mail.
Also, many work during the week and not always possible to get to the Post during the week for transactions.

Keep in mind - there are many who are not able, no desire to pay bills on the net. And I for one prefer to receive a (hard copy) birthday card and hand written letters.

I am a big proponent of ending unconstitutional spending. So I looked at the COTUS and found this in Article I, Section 8 (g) - "To establish post offices and post roads"
