Over the last few years political and financial leaders in Europe and the United States have implemented policies, regulations and bailouts costing global taxpayers trillions of dollars with the promise that these measures would lead to economic growth and recovery.

What happened in Europe today is yet further proof that nothing they’ve done has fixed the underlying fundamental issues surrounding the events that led to the crash of 2008.

For those who don’t believe the government is prepared to take extreme measures that may include the seizing of retirement accounts, cash savings or even gold, look no further than Cyprus, the latest recipient of bank bailouts.

As of right now, citizens of Cyprus are scrambling to withdraw funds from their bank accounts after the EU, with agreement from the Cypriot government, announced they will decimate funds held in personal bank accounts to the tune of up to 10% of existing deposits.

    You read that right.

So yet another instance where the international bankers are having their money confiscated by governments. I thought these powerful international bankers ran the world?

It would appear there is reason for rich Russians to panic.

I have an ideal - about about Poncho starting a thread in the Baptist Theology section, about how all this is prophesied in Revelations and Daniel?

What's the sense in Czechoslovakia about this? Though they are not part of the Eurozone, are people nervous that the something similar might happen there?

There's no point in doing so. The truth would be supressed by our masters.

I got a better idea, why don't you start a thread that explains when the truth is no longer easily denied blame God for all the corruption and lawlessness we've been busy defending all this time.

In other word's we just want to complain about the "other side" and keep voting for corrupt politicians every couple years instead of doing something that might actually make life batter for everyone. That about sums it it up doesn't it?

Or just come right out and say it plain, we're all . . .

The banker's money is safe. We cover all their bets win or lose. If they lose enough they can take your money right out of your account to cover their loss.

    Sweet deal, huh?

Too bad he was not there to help us win the Revolutionary War. No doubt we would have won it in half the time.

Based on the way his posts have moved world history, and made this a better and more fair world for everyone, if he ever writes a novel, the New Jerusalem will give up hanging around up there and decide to descend from heaven.

Boy howdy SN you sure do carry a grudge. It was all your idea to give such long and faithful service to those who were usurping the Constitution and destroying the republic. So much for solemn oaths eh?

My friend SN here is desperate to convince himself he is a better man than I because he served the globalists longer than I did. The oath says protect and defend the constitution not the people who are shredding it. It's seems like a simple enough concept SN how is you can't seem to comprehend it?

Don't bother writing any more secret apologies in my PM box either SN. Anyone that would spend weeks stalking another poster from one thread to another spewing insults in public forums for all to see then try to apologize in secret is how can I put it nicely? Less than sincere in my book.

Maybe there are others out there that you can convince your long service to the globalist usurpers is some great patriotic sacrifice on your part but I ain't one of them.

Your duty was simply to protect and defend the constitution not the globalists who were destroying it. I didn't twist your arm and make you serve the globalist traitors friend. You did it all on your own. Trying to make me look bad and typing up a thousand insults isn't going to change that one iota.

Of course you could just admit (in public) that your long service to the globalist usurpers was an honest "mistake" and start honoring your oath from this point on. Maybe then I would except your secret apology as being sincere. Anyone can make a mistake, no shame in it unless you refuse to admit it and keep trying to cover your shame by falsely accusing others of wrong doing because they see the truth you refuse to see.

What's that you keep telling me? "The constitution is the standard". You should try living up to your own words for a change.

You all wanted safety instead of liberty, so I reckon in a way you do deserve what yer getting but it seems a bit selfish on your part to drag us all along with you why should we all have to suffer because you prefer slavery to freedom?

Wake up! Get out of the false left vs right paradigm and serve your country while you still can. Expose the traitors instead of playing their game and serving them. If you all just put 1/10 the effort into exposing the globalist's crimes as you do the "democrat's" crimes we could turn this country around in short order.

Wake up! The democrats and republicans both serve the same master but we don't have to.

At first, several years ago, your posts made some sense. I really do not care what you think of my service or anyone elses. The point is, your post are based on illusion, as you have no concept of freedom and liberty. Any chimpanzee can sit behind a keyboard.

You would not know a conspiracy if it hit you in the head. All there is to say that your ideas and substance as a person are pathetic.

You must get tired holding that musket in that avatar. If you need a place to store it and take a rest, I could make a suggestion.

I figured out why it is so hard to understand Ponch - We know so little about him

It appears he is Church of Christ/Baptist
Is from the United States of Africa (USA)

Is a "Global Citizen" (whatever that is)

and must be very old (I Peter 5:8) - which makes him (fill in the _________)

His quote from his "about me page" is:
The lessons of history are numerous, clear and bloody. A disarmed population inevitably becomes an enslaved population.... — Brian Puckett

I was thinking about that -While in Egypt Moses as well as the Children of Israel were totally unarmed- and look at their outcome ..... How would they ever prevail - I'm waiting to finish the book!

(my apologies to Ponch to bringing Scripture into a political discussion*)

Does anyone ever wonder why Ponch is secretive in his info? Sure makes me wonder.

The totality of his posts, his anger, his refusal to accept an apology, his lack of understanding of the Constititution, freedom, and liberty, and most of all, his pursuit of Twilight Zone theories about world events just does not ring true to me. He demeans those who did bother to serve.

If I had to make a judgement, I would say there is lots of smoke and mirrors and very little character in the person's makeup.
