    Mark It Down....

Mark it down....if they do what Winman said (or use some other twisted means to make this wickedness legal) it will then become illegal for any Christian, Pastor, Preacher or church to openly condemn this behaviour or just simply declare what the Word of God actually teaches about it. Besides that...the advocates of any other kind of unbiblical extra-marital behaviour will then have an open door to get their kinds of perversion made legally "legitimate". This may well become one of the PRIME acid-tests of our faith in this generation. It is getting ready to really cost us something to take a real stand for what we believe....that is IF we REALLY believe the Bible. This will definitely seperate the wheat and the tares. Watch and see.

What I want to know is if the homosexu@l "friendly" folks are so open minded why arent they insisting that polygamy also be included in this law suit?

I would love to hear an answer!

PS- you notice, I refuse to use the "politically correct term of "gay"!

Hillary said that a citizen had a right to marry, implying that the government could not interfere in any way. It would seem that the Edmunds Tucker Act of 1887 outlawing Mormon polygamy would be unconstitutional and that Mormons could sue for damages. Also, this would open the door for Islam to openly practice having 4 wives in the USA in line with the Quran teaching on the subject. Also, a whole series of minor laws regulating marriage would be unconstitutional it seems if it is true that the government cannot regulate marriage as it has been doing throughout the history of this country. I expect John Roberts to say that government cannot regulate marriage along with Ginsburg.

The thing that bothers me most about this issue, aside from the morality, is the march towards the 50 state approval, with or without the Supreme Court. Kentucky would be one of the last states, if ever, to approve such marriages or accept them from other states. It is like a spreading infection, now isolated to the Northeast. This ruling could short circuit that whole process. This is just my opinion, but we are always talking about end times and when does God's patience run out?

Same sex acts have been going on since the dawn of time, however, they have been discreet and rare. We have evolved to being ashamed of it, to being more open, to putting an official stamp of approval on it. This sin and associated activity is one of the sins that Scripture is most clear about. There is no debate like drinking or other vices. It is unnatural, againist nature, and certainly against all that is Holy. While I do not know the mind of the Lord, I would think this is an event that could bring on whatever He has planned.

    YES..That Plus......

SN....I couldn't agree more. I also believe if you add the same-sex marriage thing to the abortion holocaust in this country (and the world)and the DOCUMENTED fact that 2/3rds or better of our youth are walking away from the church after they get out of school and away from their parents (and not going back)(check out Ken Ham's profound book, "Already Gone") the whole thing is just picking up speed! Also, I think you can factor in the situation in the Mideast that is a rapidly deteriorating hotbed as well as the events regarding the RCC and the gradual formation of the one-world "church" of the anti-christ. Things are coming together at an ever-increasing speed. Most importantly...the Word of God says clearly that it would get this way! We need to be busy and serious about doing all we can to live holy, godly lives and be serious in our efforts to spread the Gospel of our Lord faithfully. Time is getting shorter by the hour.

Yes, I guess thinking about sin as a whole, it is one thing for it to exist, it always has and always will until the Lord returns. It is quite another thing for nations, especially those God has richly blessed to make it the official law of the land. Another analogy I heard, sin is enough stench to the Lord. That is not enough for us, we have to take the sin and rub it in His nose.

Brother sometimes we disagree on various subjects. This is one time that I stand shoulder to shoulder with you in agreement.

He only knows whether He'll allow history to repeat itself one more time or not. Whether He reprimands one more time or completes the final chapter for eternity, is for Him to know. Either way, this spiral downward into the unmentionable has to be getting close to the bottom of His patience. At some point every caring Father has to correct his wayward children.

May God have mercy on us all.
