    Hail the Virgin Mary!

Luk 1:28 And the angel came in unto Mary, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

The angels Hail Mary, why shouldn't you?

God loves virgins... so stay a virgin!

1Co 7:34 There is a difference between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman cares about the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit. But she who is married cares about the things of the world—how she may please her husband.

But even if you are NOT a virgin there is still hope:

1Ti 2:15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved [even] in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

    Concerning Mary:

Before I knew any better I used to literally spit at the name of Mary (just to make a point)... because to my estimation she was nothing more than an incubator for God's Seed, and those who didn't know any better worshiped her.

I would think to myself, Jesus never did call her mother one time in the entire scripture.

Yes sir, I know exactly where you are coming from.

Mary isn't really even needed to preach the Good News of God's Salvation was my best estimation for many years.

    See?

But then God sat me down and had a little talk with me.

He told me about the Virgin Mary.

    Now?

I can't say enough nice and blessed things about her.

She is just a Queen and a perfect model to what a Christian woman is to be.

I have to be honest with you and tell you I just love the Virgin Mary.

As a matter of fact, I love all Virgins everywhere... for they belong to the Lord... that's right.

See? Without the Virgin Mary we don't get a savior... and if she doesn't remain a virgin... that means she might be bearing the child of a man full of mistakes.

    See?

If Mary had copulated with a man... that seed was stinking.

It was corrupt human, just like all the rest of us.

    See?

But not so with Mary, that which was conceived in her was from the Holy Spirit.

    See?

Now the original sin in the garden was sex... see?

    Did you know that?

Sexual intercourse between a man and a woman was not in the original creation.

    See?

The Virgin Mary is a clear cut testimony as to how children are supposed to be born.

And the removing of the foreskin (circumcision) to reveal said sin, the symbol of the Abraham covenant... that the original sin was indeed sex.

    See?

Virgins will conceive and bear Godly children liken unto Jesus.

    See?

When God said, Be fruitful and multiply, Mary got pregnant at that instant... just like Eve did.

One of Eve's children was from God one was from the Evil one.

Gen 4:1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain...

1Jn 3:12 Be not as Cain who was of the evil one...

But with sexual women of today we can never tell if the child if from her-own seed or her sexual partners.

So Jesus tells us how to identify His Brothers:

Mat 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

    See?

All God's children were pre-destined to be born of the woman were planted in those woman when God said, Be fruitful and multiply.

For the bible clearly states that the woman has a seed.

Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed...

The children of Adam hated the seed of the Virgin Mary... so much so they killed Him.

Joesph was another seed of God, the bible clearly tells us that Joseph's brothers hated him without a cause.

    See?

Jesus (and His brothers) were put in those woman from before the foundation of the world... so says the bible.

Sorry to type so much... I hit the high-spots, we can talk more if you desire.

    Blessings to you.

    Shalom IsRaEl

Yahshva - I'm sorry but you are smoking some strong stuff there. Your post is completely unbiblical. Original sin was sex? God didn't intend for there to be sexual intercourse? Where do you find this in Scripture?

    Greetings in Christ Jeus.

Jesus was for men castrating themselves to abstain from sex.

    Read below:

Mat 19:10 His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.
Mat 19:11 But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given.
Mat 19:12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

    What did Paul say?

1Co 7:1 Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.

1Co 7:29 …those who have wives should live as though they have none.

1Co 7:38 …he who refrains from marriage does best.

Indeed Paul encouraged all men to be free from women just exactly like Paul himself was.

If you can't leave woman alone… if you burn with desire, then force God's permissive will.

But if you can control yourself and you can refrain from sex… do so!

Women, do not inflame your husbands with sexual desire. Dress yourself down.Cover your bodies and your curves, let not the man who is week see your flesh, never strive to ignite his desire… it is of Satan!

Now again. Sex was the original sin, and if it is was sin the beginning it is still sin today, because God does not change. Hebrews 13:8

In my eyes anything that invokes God's permissive will, it is a sin to me. I want God's perfect will.

We really should understand scripture before commenting.

    Much love!

How do you explain this verse then?:

    Genesis 1:28

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

How was that supposed to happen if you believe sex was sinful? God Himself told them to multiply!

Now, I'm all for respecting the Blessed Virgin but I do not hold that sex was original sin nor do I think Christ wants us going around castrating ourselves.

Are these beliefs about sex particular to the 'Sacred Name Movement'? I tried to find information about it but didn't find anything in their beliefs supporting his claims. They are a spin-off of the Seventh-Day Church of God, right?

Google the username. I found nothing about this weird teaching on sex. But the username is common among the SNM.

I don't see anywhere here that Jesus is telling men to castrate themselves to not have sex. You completely disregard the CONTEXT of the passage and miss exactly where Jesus said that it was from the beginning of creation that man and woman would be one flesh:

Where in this passage here do you see that God wants men to cut off their scrotum so that they do not have sex?

This is true if you rip verses from the context of the passage. Let's look at it in full, OK?

Since God created man and woman to be one flesh, I do not believe that it is God's "permissive will" at all but His perfect will.

Not if you are married. If you are married and you withhold intimacy, it is a sin.

You speaking of this is from Satan.

You speak a lie and a lie from Satan. Sex was not the original sin. It was the original perfect plan. When you speak of that which comes from God as coming from Satan - I say to beware!

Yes, you should really understand Scripture before commenting.

well, Jesus, God Incarnate, stated that it was GOOD to have a man and woman marry, and to be fruitful and multiple, and he also said that some are eunochs for sake of the Kingdom, but those would be ones God gave the gift ofcelibecy too, not those who multilated themselves!

If this fellow stays around for a while, do you think it might be enough to unify the Catholics and Baptists here? :)

Back years ago, when I visited this board as a non-member (lurker) and before the 'Great Purge' of the Catholic members. there were times when non-believers would have made it past the screeners and would be challenging essential Christian beliefs (virgin birth, resurrection of Christ, Trinity, Diety of Christ, etc) and it made the heart glad to see a unified attempt to witness to the unbelievers. No doubt the statement I just made will be attacked but I saw Catholics and Protestants unified in their efforts to reach the lost for Jesus.

Well if we ignore the whacky part - and just deal with the subject of Mary - a couple of interesting items.

    1. No Bible text says Mary was without sin.
    2. No Bible text says Mary did not need a Savior.
    3. No Bible text says that Mary was assumed into heaven.
    4. No Bible text says that Mary is the Queen of heaven

When the statement is made to Christ that his mother is blessed - Christ said "on the contrary" - and then what comes next?

Now notice that ll the "supernatural stuff" about Christ DOES get mentioned in the actual Bible - we don't just make it up.

For example we claim that -

    1. Christ was born of a virgin - no earthly father.
    2. Christ was the Son of God - and existed before His life on Earth - with God the Father.
    3. Christ was without sin.
    4. Christ rose bodily from the grave.
    5. Christ died for the sins of the whole world as an atoning sacrifice.
    6. Christ was taken up bodily into heaven.

All of this is in the actual Bible written by the first century authors of the text.

Coming up with a parallel story to this where all the same stuff happens to Mary - is not in the Bible - we would just have to make that up.

    in Christ,

    Bob
