From another forum [Gather.com] the militant LGBT community [on Gather] like to rip me apart when I speak out in compassion and love regarding the fact that holding to, and actively practicing the sinful acts of homosexuality is against God's perfect plan and will for their life. I only share my articles to demonstrate how God loves them and would like them to come to Him and EXCHANGE their lustful sin - for a relationship with Jesus - have shown their true colors with their recent attack on Pastor Rick Warren [whose son committed suicide].

These are the same same-gender folks that call me unloving; hateful; homophobic; and some names I dare not repeat. When I say that the heart and soul of a homosexual are being held prisoner of their own sin, I only need this recent attack on Rick Warren's family to prove my point.

This portion of society are so caught up in their sin that they have become easy prey for the devil, which is clearly visable in the vicious, cruel attacks on a man and his family when they are down and grieving. The militant side of the "happy"gay community has reared its hateful, ugly head and it just goes validate what the Bible says about sin. When a person is locked in an abominable sin, they are easy pickings for falling victim to other sins of the heart. And this unnecessary attack on the Warren's, shows just how far full circle their sin has come, as well as how deep the roots of the sin reach?

IN truth, it is the "happy' community which is bigoted. It is the "happy" community which is hateful. It is the "happy" community that is without compassion. Sure some will say they are merely striking back for years of Christian beat downs and personal attacks on his or her lifestyle. However, let's look at this as it is: True, the church does preach to the "happy" community. We preach a message based un Scripture, not personal opinions. And we do not take the Gospel message to the "happy" people for the strict purpose of condemning them or hatefully attacking their life stye.

We speak to Happy people" with compassion, concern for their eternity, and of course, love regarding how their sinful lifestyle has separated them from the God who created them for being His children. Our message is not one of the hate, rather it is a message or warning that if they continue to follow the current road, they are on; they will only reap judgement and God's wrath.

The church is not trying to tell the "happy people" that they are despicable, or filthy or degenerate? However, in fact, we preach that God loves them. His Son died for them, and that heaven can be theirs if they renounced this sin of flesh and lust and accept Jesus as Savior.

I have not seen believers representing the church when speaking to the "happy people" doing so ina spirit of hate! However, the vicious attacks by gays, in today's media reports on the Warrens, is hateful, vengeful, vicious, over-the-top, and uncivil in every way.

In fact, their words are full of hate with the intent to hurt this family who tragically lost their son after years of depression and emotions turmoil. This militant, aggressive minority group should be ashamed of the way their leaders have taken this time of loss and family grief to the place of being hurtful; hateful; and just downright "Ugly!"

:wavey: If you want to see the TRUE side of the "happiest" community in our society, read the article from the following link - http://instantanalysis.net/afa-blog...theist-use-death-of-son-to-attack-rick-warren :wavey:

    * I am asking that the Christian community come together as a family and encircle the Warren family with prayers, warm thoughts, and love during this personal trial and tragedy. Your prayers will do so much to help them get through this loss, and to avoid the hurtful things being said by the gay community!

    Shalom,

    Pastor Paul :type:

Pastor Paul, this is one time I don't want to follow the link you posted.

It's bad enough with what I have to see in our society, whether it's in TV news or when I walk down a street in a big city or have to go to the mall for a pair of shoes.

That said, thank you for posting. What you have referenced doesn't surprise me. Wish it could. (sigh) Often it seems that the word compassion has disappeared from usage in large segments of our society when it comes to applying it to others.

In all fairness wouldn't this be considered a hate crime against Rick?

It is a sad state of affairs...

....and I can only hope that those who have compassion to the LGBT folks see that they are an aggressive, militant group of hateful people, that do not want to change, BUT, rather want us to change and thw world to change with them! :tear:
