    There is a very long thread going whether a small child fully understands salvation.

    I don't think anyone has said - it is impossible - as some examples have been given - ie Billy Grahmn, Ann, ect...

    But it seems those who have given those examples are not willing to say that a young child may not fully understand and that care should be given so we do not push the child into a decision he does not understand.

    This is from post # 2 of this thread

    So here is my question - do you think this boy in my (true) example had been saved in one of his many trips to the altar?

    I did not follow the other thread all the way...but my question would be...
    What did he want to get saved from? If he did not think he was a sinner..

    I don't believe he was. Where was his heart? Did he know the truth of the Gospel? That would tell me at least what we could know.
