Throughout life people will make you mad, disrespect you and treat you bad. Let God deal with the things they do, cause hate in your heart will consume you too.

Illogical reply ... showing a complete misunderstanding of the quote.

Then why aren't you "letting God deal with they things they do," if you so understand it?

The quote is about our personal life, about people being angry with us, mistreating us, etc. Let God deal with them. The important part of the quote is not holding hatred within ourselves ... as that hatred will consume us, it will bring on illnesses, it will make us view life negatively and ultimately holding hate will kill holder of that hatred. Didn't Christ say, "Love your enemy" ... agape is the word used in the Greek.

We are talking about personal life, about personal slights, mistreatment, etc, not crimes.

The obvious question here is: do you think I'm angry with you, mistreating you?... or 'etc.'? If it's any of those things, and you understand the quote and think it should be carried out, then you would not be answering me, but "letting God deal with me." Is it none of those things, or did you just not give Him permission ["let"]?

I do not think you are angry with me. We are simply having a conversation. No reason to be angry.

Even if you are angry or hate me, we can still have a conversation. I would converse, but I would let God deal with your anger or hatred. I could do nothing about it. I am not much into expending energy on things in this life I have no control over.

You sure could have fooled me on that one. Or is it a question of how much is much?
