BTW, for anyone's information...a lot of what I put on here is what I wrote for my FACE BOOK, and if I feel it is good enough, I post them on forums....I do several a week.

So if my posts and threads seem to reek of I-isms...that is because they are for those who REALLY KNOW ME.

Sorry for the misunderstanding on some posters part and their false perceptions of me...they really shouldn't judge people so quickly on the written word alone.

I have had many tell me of the good they get from my writings, many find them, insightful, thought provoking, inspiring and TRUE!

The words you chose to use to "clarifiy" defeat your stated intention.

Perhaps what you need then is a blog.

Perhaps you should consider that we don't really know you that well and sometimes with your partial ALL CAPS and sensitivity to being questioned, that this is what is leading to any misunderstanding.

But that's all that we have of you. I don't even know if you are a man or a woman or how old you are.

That's good. I'm a writer, myself, and I get that, also.

I ALSO get just as much challenge from people. I feel I need that to become a better writer and to rethink what I've said.

Truly - TRULY - do you feel that writers should go unchallenged?

The problem isn't being challenged (or is it?) There are some who aren't challenging me much because they can't. Like I always say, attack the message not the messenger. Like it has been said on here many times before there are mean people on here and all forums who just like to start trouble.

I can tell if someone has actually read what I have written or if they just want to be contentious. Go to my EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON thread and you will see what I mean

I am a women who will be 50 next month if that helps. I have nothing to hide and hope I'm not treated differently just because I am a woman?

I too have 3 books in mind working on one now. I was also thinking of sending in articles to Christian magazines.

If I gave my testimony I am sure many of you would see me differently....I have been through more than anyone I know right from birth, so obviously God has a plan for me...I've already accomplished and overcome many, many things in my life and my new chapter is to share with others all that God has taught me and that our upbringing or circumstances don't define us it is what we do with them that matters.

It aint about me it is about God and speaking truth...I am only His tool

Here I'll let you in on a little secret. I tend to not start discussion or argue a point I can not back up with proof. One of the reason I have learned all that I have is because I have listen and learn from others all my life, I have no problem with corrective criticism, I study to show myself approved, I understand my God given gifts and talents and am not afraid to use them. And I was taught by one of the best pastors who ever lived....over 70 pastors came to his funeral when he died...he pastored a church without decention for 38 years...and he rightly divided God's word and lived it...what better example than that?...I have also been taught by the Holy Spirit heavy truths right at the moment of salvation that were in the bible yet I hadn't read them yet....God gave me a gift, so I am wrong for using it, all because I don't have a doctrines degree?

If I am wrong please correct me, but one needs to be able to ATTACK the message and not the messenger or your words mean nothing to me.

I've been around long enough to know most people don't have a clue to many truths cause they are for one so focused on self and two because they are too extreme....this is what keep most people from groping and learning. I'm not everyone's cup of tea I get that but for those who are open, these are who I speak to.

    Ok, ok. Enough of this.

    You are not a writer.

I promise you that everyone who reads your posts knows it.

The last sentence above has two, maybe three, run-on sentences in it.

The grammatical errors are gross- clearly not just typos. If they were typos they would not be so consistent in your writing.

You speak in grand generalities rather than specific practicalities. No reputable publisher would publish a work of this quality.

You are, in my estimation, deluded about your talents. You have surrounded yourself with yes-men who do not know better than to prop up your delusions with unqualified affirmations.

If you have ever seen American Idol when someone sings HORRIBLY and everyone knows it but himself and his closest friends... that's what this is like.

You haven't earned your opinion to be accepted by me. I will listen to those who don't have an ax to grind who say otherwise. In fact it is because of so many over the years who have told me I have a gift and I should use it, that I am.

    You sound very jealous

BTW, that is what editors are for...I am not book learned but life and Holy Spirit taught

You and a million other deluded souls.

There is no limit to the people who think God speaks to them and makes them wiser than their peers.

Such deluded people are a dime a dozen.

Right... just like God didn't use all the GREAT SAINTS in the bible or people today. Juts because YOU aren't one of them...no need to be jealous

You have now been ignored :wavey:

The problem, Sis, is that you see yourself as one of those "great saints."

You don't understand that they really WERE the mouthpiece of God whereby God gives us his word.

We follow his Word given to us by them, not subjective experience or spiritual intuition.

In order to persuade people, since we are NOT receiving new revelation as the authors of Scripture did, we have to MAKE A CASE for what we claim. We don't get to just speak it and expect people should receive it because it came from God to them through us.

Before you hit the ignore button on me, just one question if you don't mind.

What has the Holy Spirit and the scriptures taught you about humility? The words I long to hear when He calls me home are "Well done my good and faithful servant."

One of the questions that I often ask myself is am I willing to wash the feet of those who have been critical of me, in my walk of faith with our Lord. So far, the answer has been yes. Took a lot of soul searching to reach that point. To kneel before those who don't praise me, who rightly or wrongly criticize. Yes, I will kneel and wash the dust off their feet, as my Saviour taught by example. In my heart, I know He's right there kneeling beside me.

Again, what has the Holy Spirit and the scriptures taught you? Do you wash the feet of others, or do you click on the ignore button? That decision is between you and our Lord.

Last comment, for whatever it's worth. Over all the years I've been on line, I've never once used the ignore button. Nor, do I intend to do it here, either.

If you behave yourself you should be fine. The bible is clear what do about troublemakers and those who cause dissension and strife...the bible says GET RID OF THEM!

You may be able to live your life on forums I do not have time to deal with those who come on MY THREADS and start trouble....unlike many on here I actually have a life!

    YOUR threads?

This is a public message board. There are no limits on who can post, other than what's identified in the rules (i.e., Baptists only in the "Baptists Only" section).

If you post here, you open yourself up for discussion, debate, ridicule, harassment, and yes, even friendship.

Your words in your last few posts and "your" threads have downright reeked of pride.

Frankly, Luke and I rarely see eye-to-eye; but Luke's a smart cookie, and strives to further his understanding of scripture. And yes, he has a pride problem at times, too.

As I said in a previous message: If you consider making yourself teachable, you might learn a thing or two. And there are those here who want to be teachable, and you could teach them a thing or two. Your choice. Let God lead.
