Just as we lift up a cup and allow it to be filled with water,
or as the rain cometh from above to water the earth,
we must lift up an open heart and allow the Lord to fill it
from above with living water, God's words.

    --------------------------------------------------------

    KJV Isaiah 55:9-11
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven,
and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth
and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth:
it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please,
and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

KJV John 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift
of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest
have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

KJV John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said,
out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

KJV 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God,
and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction,
    for instruction in righteousness:

    KJV 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received,
    how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day
    according to the scriptures.

I highly doubt you have taken all these courses, except at possibly a non-accredited Bible school. If you had, you would (or should) be able to write more intelligent and grammatically correct posts.

    Not Good!

GT....I hardly think it is right to label Makahiya117 as a TROLL in response to his posting of several beautiful and edifying passages of scripture out of the Word of God. I might agree that many of his posts could be done in a more coherent and useful fashion if he would actually engage in a more orthodox conversational style of posting......but to call him a troll for posting SCRIPTURE....no....I think you owe him an apology.

Makahiya...thank you for posting those passages (but see my advice above)! There is little use and no point to deliberately giving people reasons to dislike you. That makes NO sense at all! As Christians we should seek to do those things which edify our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Amen?

FWIW, I've seen his posts on other boards. If memory serves, about 2 years ago, he was exploring the concept of KJVO. At that time I had the impression that English is not his native language. Some of his posts read as if he had used a rather crude language translation program. And, didn't have enough basic English skills to recognize the errors generated by the software he was using.

Not saying that this is indeed fact. It was just an impression. One built upon the time that I had to use such software to handle email questions that were not in English. (Help Desk situation.)

I see you include Psalm 12:6-7 as a 'canonical' Scripture. That proves you WRONG right there.

Sorry... but quoting the Bible doesn't get you off the hook for being a troll. Bots can do the same thing and are the quintessential of a troll. But you KJVers will stick together I see. I wonder if he did that in the NIV and I said the same thing (I would), would you have made your post? At least you had the courage to call him out on his incoherency. I appreciate that about you.

    Point Taken...

GT...I see your point....and yes....as a KJV'er I probably would have had nothing to say if he was quoting an NIV or something else. I will admit that. While I know that Roby and others will say that we have no real "facts" to back-up our position I will say that is not true and go further and say that when I see someone who claims to hold to the tenants of what I believe representing our position poorly, I am apt to correct them if possible in as gentlemanly a manner as possible. I try to say things that will give them pause and make them think about the impact of what they are saying and how it is being perceived. I claim no "scholarly" or highly academic background but I do ask the Lord to guide me in my thoughts and words as much as possible so that what I say on here and elsewhere is edifying to those that read/hear what I have to say.:flower:

I am not a KJV Only. I believe all scripture is given by inspiration of God.

KJV 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God,
and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction,
    for instruction in righteousness:

    -------------------------------------------

While the entire line of scripture are records,
    the outstanding record of scripture
and the scripture of final authority is the published text and form
of the AV 1611 KJV Holy Bible first edition.

KJV Holy Bibles are the most published, read and loved bibles of all time.
