The Salty City is "honoring" the so-called "LBGT" community this week.
The city Mayor will be raised the "LBGT" today. There will be an interfaith service at a local RC church, and on Sat, there will be a parade on Sat.

I am thinking about going - to see if there are any demonstrators and to see how they are received by the "open minded" liberals.

I was thinking also if these open minded liberals would allow a Bible believing church to have a float giving a Bible passage?

Would your church want to have a float in such a parade?

    No.

I think I would leave the city for the day, just in case God has had His fill of this particular activity.

    Come Lord Jesus

Our old Presbyterian church was right in the heart of a town that had a large "pride parade" every year that went by our front doors. We prayed about what to do and we decided to put up a large banner on the side of the church that says "God changes lives" (you see it as soon as you drive into the town), hand out water bottles and have a group of people inside the church praying. No harassing them or anything - just being kind and praying. We left the church about 2 years after we started doing that so I'm not sure what the results have been but I believe they are still doing this. :)

Sounds like a good way to handle the situation.
