There was only one possible sin - eating from the forbidden tree.

I don't quite understand, you say that there was only one possible sin, however what if Adam decided to kill Eve or curse God, Ect.

before adam's eyes were opened and he knew the knowledge of good and evil

do you think he knew what kill was--or what cursing was ??

all he knew at that time is that God told him not to eat of a certain tree--in which the lust of the eyes, lust of flesh, pride of life captured him

The first human sin was Eve's. Adam followed shortly after.

I always wondered what woulda happened had Adam not followed Eve in sin?

Yes... they were sinless right up to when they sinned (disobeyed/rebelled against God).

If Adam would not have followed Eve and Eve was cast out of the garden then that would be the end of mankind because it was not been able to reproduce together. However if God allowed Eve to stay In the garden with Adam and they were to reproduce and have children and their children have children how many generations would go by until a man was seduced by a woman To do evil? If we've always had a choice to pick between good and evil Why did God only limit us to one choice, into eating from the tree? I guess we could run around in circles and circles forever trying to understand the mind of God.

    No!!!!!

The Scriptures indicate that Eve was deceived and convinced that eating the fruit would make her wise. In essence she was tricked into taking the fruit, but Adam knowing full well, chose Eve over God.

That is why the Scriptures always place the blame upon Adam.

It would only be pure speculation about what might happen if Adam had not taken the fruit.

I am certain that Eve was the first to use womanly cunning to get Adam to be compliant - the same as all wives have done since. :)

everyone makes adam so innocent besides eating the fruit himself--what if adam was the serpent and he deceived eve to eat the fruit first--to see what would happen to her--since they didn't know what death was at that time--maybe he was curious to see and when nothing happened to her at that moment--then is when she gave unto adam and he ate of the fruit--the scripture says that adam was standing right there when the event took place soooo

But if God knows everything and knew that Adam was the mastermind behind the phone type thing why would he Give even harsher punishment ofIncreased pain of labor during childbirth?

Did God condemn Adam to crawl on his belly and eat the dust of the earth? Adam was NOT the serpent!

let me ask you the same question--if a so called entity that mankind has named Satan was the culprit behind it--why did God only Kill all of manikind in the flood(except for 8) in his judgement ?? and let the entity live on and not be judged ?

seems fair to you to kill mankind in flood and let the culprit who according to man is behind the whole thing go free ???? so that he might ruin mankind after the flood also ???? big problems here :godisgood::godisgood:

upon thy belly shall thy go--does not necessarily mean that a snake had legs at that time and that god took their legs from them in the curse ??

    in Philippians 3-19

Whose end is destruction, whose GOD IS THEIR BELLY,and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.

whose God is their belly ??? go out upon thy belly ??? can you see a link here between the 2 verses dealing with men ???

also in the new testament MEN were referred to as SERPENTS

    Adam was NOT innocent!!!!!!

He and Eve (being the only humans of free will and choice) exercised that choice (Eve being deceived into believing a lie) and therefore Sin is passed upon all humankind through Adam.

Before the fall, Adam would never have even considered such a scenario as you suggested. Neither would Eve. It was the Serpent that introduced deceit - that is why he is referred to as the father of lies.

Btw, the Scripture do not state that Adam was standing right there. Eve could very well have eaten of the fruit some hours before, realizing her mistake, and instead of appealing to Adam about her being deceived through "confessing and forsaking" she chose force Adam to chose between God and Eve. He chose Eve - and hide from God. Humankind has hid from God ever since.

Eve was totally unprepared to even know what a lie was (until her eyes were open).

Adam knew where the food came from, and willingly took it.

    Gen. 3-6

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat,AND GAVE UNTO HER HUSBAND WITH HER,and he did eat.

last part of that verse plainly states her husband WITH her--adam was with her the whole time there

The verse just indicates that she gave it to the husband. Not WHEN she met up with him and gave it to him.

Adam was the caretaker of Eden. It is perhaps doubtful that he was near Eve in doing his duty.

Nor is it likely that Adam would not (as any good husband) stood up the the Serpent had he been present.

The time line in which you suggest may or may not be valid. We are not a party to the complete day of the characters, only a scene here and there.

Just as you surmise a certain timeline, it may have just as well been some other variant.

We DO know that when God came calling in the evening, they hid themselves, so these encounters must have happened sometime after breakfast.

Would you please show me in my post where I mention "some fallen angel from God's abode," or "There even isn't ant proof scripturally(in context)of angels being able to sin...."

Perhaps you misread what I posted.

all these statements are speculation on your part--you nor me or anyone else has any idea of how it was in that time at all--we can speculate is all we can do

there still is more scriptural proof of the serpent being a man
