Probably not, because of the intelligence value. If he were to come back with a pardon, don't be surprised if his lifespan was rather short.

More like the lifespan of a male praying mantis after fertilizing his mate's eggs.

You guys spend to much time on conspiracy theories. The government would never violate the constitutional like this Snowden guy is alleging.

We got their word on it.

As the Geico commercial says, situations like this make Poncho happier than a camel on Wednesday.

I doubt that he'd die anytime soon. He's too public of a figure right now. Even if the government is corrupt, it isn't stupid.

After working in the Federal Government for 36 years, and from things I heard, the public would probably be shocked at the number of American citizens that had been murdered either directly or indirectly at the direction of some government official.

This is an area Poncho would thrive on, and he might actually have some totals. I am not a fan of Poncho's international conspiracy theories, however, isolated individuals that cause lots of trouble for the government for this or that situation, it is not that difficult to solve the problem by some accident. I cannot remember the number of mysterious deaths during the Clinton Administration.

Sometimes it is not unknown citizens. Remember Vince Foster from the Clinton years? Remember Secretary of Commerce Ron Brown?

Ron Brown died 1996. Brown was the Secretary of Commerce and the former chairman of the Democratic National Committee. He died along with 39 others in a plane crash, on the way to Croatia. The plane crash was originally reported to have been caused by bad weather. After independent sources revealed that there was no bad weather, the reports cited pilot error and navigational equipment failure as the cause.
Brown was very close to being indicted over financial fraud schemes etc., and had publicly announced that he was willing to make a deal with the prosecution. Many allegations have came out about Brown's missing, lost or stolen autopsy records containing x-rays that clearly showed a "bullet hole" in the back of Brown's head and bullet fragments inside his skull! If it's ever proven, I wonder if they'll also attribute that to pilot error?

This web site summarizes many unexplained deaths during the Clinton career, not just the Presidency.

Just to be fair and balanced, there are similar documented deaths in the Bush administrations, Nixon administration, and the Kennedy-Johnson years. A man named Billy Sol Estes, a Texas swindler tied to both Presidents, resulted in several unexplained deaths. Billy lived a long life, as he died just a few weeks ago. He was so notorious, the Chad Mitchell Trio wrote a song about him.

"I was cleaning my gun but I didn't know it was loaded! I must have shot him in the passenger cabin when I was distracted in the cockpit by 'bad weather.' "
