I would appreciate your prayers as I go to Little Rock at 5:00 AM tomorrow (6/28)to have arthroscopic surgery on my knee. The surgery is pretty routine, but I will be at the hospital for close to 6 hours they said. I'll be off of it until Monday when I see the doctor again, and then I should be able to walk on it as the pain will allow.

Thank you in advance for your prayers. :godisgood:

You got it!! My hubby had a similar surgery a bunch of years ago and he did great until recently when he tweaked his knee pushing his dead car. But considering his surgery was to clean up a torn ACL and they never reconstructed it, I think that's pretty good! :)

I pray that God will guide the doctor's hands and that you will have success and a good recovery.

Surgery went well. I'm home now relaxing. My two-year old grandaughter called me a while ago and said, "I hope your knee feels better, Paw Paw."

    Thank you for your prayers!

Well, if THAT doesn't make you feel better, I don't know what will. :)

Ice can be your friend after surgery. We've found ice to be extremely important after orthopedic surgeries for pain control. I hope you stay comfortable with little pain!

I was told to ice my knee for 20 minutes every hour. Praise the Lord, I haven't had to take any pain medication yet.

Hope you are still doing well, and that your knee heals well.
