The main problem with a “results based ministry” is the fact that results in Christian ministry can not be accurately measured.
And the ultimate conclusion of a results based ministry, is pragmatism.
“If something works, than it must be right; even if it is unbiblical!”
    ------------------------
Which brings me to the kind of ministry the Bible calls us to.....
    “An obedience based ministry”
One where we simply follow the Lord’s instructions(in His Word & by His still small Voice), regardless of the “results”!

Well, Both Noah and Jeremiah had dismal "results based ministries", as few herad and responded to them!

I see a focus on "results" a lot in churches and parachurch ministries. They define success by results. Pragmatism.

The problem is that God never called us to be concerned about results, but to be obedient.

We preach. He saves who He wants to save.

yes, the Lord Jesus invested time into the Apostles, and he was not into basing it upon the quick and flashy, but long and steady growth/production!
