Let's not forget to include the mocking bird media that dutifully framed the debate into another divide and conquer campaign.

They won't be investigated because they don't have "Tea Party" in their name.

I think the ACLU is more interested in promoting division than unity. Same with the SPLC. We should all understand that the one thing that scares the criminals in Washington and on Wall Street the most is a well informed and united citizenry. They know that if that were to ever happen their days in power would be over.

That's why they never cease working to keep us divided and arguing amongst ourselves. Left vs right, black vs white, rich vs poor and so on. The elites use our petty differences to their advantage every minute. It's a sad commentary that we can know this is how the elites have ruled over human civilization for thousnads of years and yet we still fall for it.

I think that we have to look at the role of NBC in this in that they censored the emergency call to make it look bad. Also, the President, an Ivy League Harvard-educated Law Professor at the elite University of Chicago, should have known to keep quiet instead of saying that Trayvon would be like his son. That made it as if it were a federal case and forced the county authorities to host a trial.

As for the cartoon, I never saw it that I remember but I remember seeing President Truman in 1948 in my hometown during his whistlestop campaign from a special railway car. It was only yesterday.

We were against "isms" and considered them inferior. Any "ism" was bad just because it had that suffix was the rule of thumb as we were taught by our teachers. The cartoon strikes me as a cold war product, touting American freedom. That sort of rugged individualism that would resist "isms" may be gone now.

And we mustn't leave out Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh and Lara Ingraham and Mark Levin and Bill O'Reilly and Geraldo and Ted Nugent and the rest of the conservative talk show hosts who keep stoking the fire.

There are enough folks on both sides pushing us toward "war".

Yep it's pretty pathetic the level of prejudice that exists in the Church that gets written off as an attempt to unite.

Yes, as I said your prejudice and the prejudice of a lot on this board puts a prejudiced chip on your shoulder about dealing with anyone who doesn't fall in line with your thinking.

    Prejudice on top of prejudice.

Obama is trying to combine that junk. At this point the current "civil rights" movement has been highjacked and now one is just as bad as the other. I would leave the racebater alone to stew in his own junk.

President Obama said if he had a son, he’d look like Trayvon Martin. Yes, but what would that son BE like?

Does that matter? Is it trivial? Is the distinction irrelevant?

This is the essence of the decades-long psy-op to convince Americans that their identity is completely wrapped up in their ethnicity, or their skin-color, or their religion, or their gender, or some other group of which they’re a member.

AS OPPOSED TO IDENTITY AS A FUNCTION OF WHO THEY ARE AS INDIVIDUALS. <- link

Working for a definable cause as part of a group is one thing, but taking on one’s own identity as nothing more than “group member” is a disaster.

At the core of this op is desertion of self by the individual himself. Yes, every individual is unique. That’s true. But it has to play out. The individual has to take his own actions and his own path. If not, he picks out a disseminated cartoon, glues it to his face, and marches forward in lock step toward Nowhere.
