To begin with, among the yelling and shouting of the protests from the black community since "the verdict" comes an article that was buried on the second to last page [for those who wonder, there were 30 pages in the "A" Section] of my Daily paper. A mere blip of a story on the radar map of news about the evil, child killing George Zimmerman, coming out of hiding to pull a family of four from an overturned truck. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/07/2...ed-man-from-truck-crash-last-week-police-say/

This action, coming from a racist, black killing young man, barely got noticed. And then, "you know who?" makes this comment in an OP in the Current Events section of this Forum.

Man, can't you cut him a break? Some slack? A pat on the back? Maybe we are a bunch of hypocritical racists on this forum-like you accuse us of being-but at least we don't get all sarcastic and bemoan his heroic actions.

Could it be that what Zimmy demonstrated that he may just be the all-around community minded young man that others have said he was. Maybe, the incident with Trayvon was just an awful, tradgic event?

**For those who did not read the comment by "you know who?" in the Current Events section, here it is:

    >I'm sure the folks he helped are grateful. But unfortunately for him, this kinda makes him seem to exhibit the same "can't sit my behind down somewhere and stay out of the limelight" type personality as OJ.

It eventually catches up to you.
    <

As a person, who has been accused of being hypocritical, racist, and prejudiced, I tender this one thought to you: Maybe you need to do some soul searching, as it is clear now, that you too have a character flaw which is evident in the bad feelings you exhibit toward Zimmy.

In fact, it looks to me like you, my brother, may just have an axe to grind when it comes to this guy; as well as the rest of us on this board.

I'll be :praying: for you, this time around :tear:

I doubt there ever was an accident.
Zimmerman knew the driver, the driver knew Zimmerman, and I hear tell from the grapevine of bootleggers that the two connived to make the accident happen.
The driver rolls his truck over with 3 more people inside it, just as Zimmerman happens to be driving by, and lo and behold, Georgie is a hero.
On the other end of moonshine alley, they say that the driver was really running away from Zimmerman who was shaking him down for something or the other (which one, they really couldn't tell, because they couldn't tell which way was up or down after 'testing' their likker) and so he turned turtle and Zimmerman caught up with him and pulled him out of the car to give him his comeuppance just as the trooper got there and Zimmie was a hero.
I better check snopes on these.:wavey:

This thread should be closed. It's sole purpose was to denigrate a BB member.

We shouldn't be opening threads just because we don't like a particular poster and/or his/her viewpoints, even if I agree that those viewpoints are wrong.

Exactly. The Ignore List serves a wonderful purpose. Looks like it's time for some maintenance to my (packed) list. I am freeing someone and putting someone else in his spot.

Sorry! So very sorry to the board and that person!

I did not intend to humiliate anyone person, just make a point about this entire case.

I have, and so have many of you, been called everything for a hypocrite to racist, and clearly the way this person responded to this news in the Current Events Section; it was not us who had a problem, but quite possibly the one pointing his finger us. Of course, this post doesn't help to make me look any better than that person, in fact, it may solicit sympathy for him, which again, was not my intent!?

I posted this here, because this was the section of the board where this topic was hotly contended, and the majority of us were attacked for what another person claims is bigotry, racism and hypocrisy!

So, for those who feel, I posted in bad taste, let me apologise. That was never my intent. I was simply wanting to show that while this person points out the twigs in our eyes, he, in fact, has a log in his. No it looks like it is me, who has an even larger log in not one, but both of my eyes!:tear:

If the Moderators desire to close this down, please do. And accept my sincere apologies for allowing that particular person to get under my skin to the point that I put this OP on the board; using it more for myself, than others.

I deserve your scorn, folks, because I can see your side of this, and believe me, I thought this out before I posted it. However, after looking at both sides of this issue and how it may or may not be taken, inside of me, I felt it was worth the risk, at the time, but I can see how this appears to be nothing more than a cheap shot.

So, I am truly sorry if in any way, this offended anyone of you, as that was not my original intent! :tear:

Didn't offend me at all; and I don't think you're racist or any of the other garbage that individual likes to throw out. I think he's just baiting folks for jollies.

Some are as bad and insincere as an NFL player saying something that the owner didn't approve of them saying and then issuing a forced apology.

Don't know if you're talking about Righteous or me; but neither of us was talking to you, just about you. His apology was sincerely to those of us who thought he was stepping across a line, not to you.

I'm well aware of to whom it was. I'm used to sincere apologists not having to set about rationalizing why they say or do what they say or do. They just apologize and leave it at that.

Somebody's hand got swatted and the obvious ensued. And then the STILL attempt to justify.

    Funny.

And truly gracious people accept an apology without analyzing the sincerity of it.

Well hopefully you guys are gracious because by the tenor of the "apology", it certainly wasn't really intended for me.

    For YOUR Information....

...I was not swatted; I was not told to apologize...I re read my words and listened to what a few folks said, and felt it was necessary to let you and them know I was sorry!

Sometimes, when an apology is tendered, it is prudent to offer an explanation as to the true motives behind the act. I was wrong, and I wanted those who called me on it to know I heard from God through them.

As for you, my dear brother, you remain an unusual, problematic enigma. Let me just say that as a bleiever, you are just audacious and spiritually disrespectful to those who you claim to be kin to through Jesus!

If anyone should be apologizing to any one on this board, it should be you for all the undeserved accusations! But, we have a better chance of the Lord's return, or a super nova of the sun........:BangHead:

Are you guys really married and going thru a divorce? Both of you ought to just start acting like grown ups or better yet like Christian grown ups.
