They will never learn no matter how much damage their policies do.

    From the article:

The Department of Housing and Urban Development is imposing a new rule that would allow the feds to track diversity in America’s neighborhoods and then push policies to change those it deems discriminatory.

And then into the meat of the article:

Specifics of the proposed rule are lacking. Now published in the Federal Register and undergoing a 60-day comment period, the rule,"does not prescribe or enforce specific” policies.

Ahhh...good ol' Fox News. Create a scenario out of thin air and then clarify later that it isn't really happening. Interview critics as if it were news. Publish polls as if it were news. At least they are consistent!

    From the op:

"The policy is called, "Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing." It will require HUD to gather data on segregation and discrimination in every single neighborhood and try to remedy it."

Yep, they will gather data. But:

"Specifics of the proposed rule are lacking. [...] the rule, "does not prescribe or enforce specific policies."

As conservatives if we want to moan about the mainstream media being biased we ought to own up that Fox News is biased as well. It happens on both sides.

Lack of specifics means they will leave it up to HUD to figure it our. But the rule or mandate still stands. They must as a rule try and remedy it. To remedy it is required of them. There is nothing wrong with the story and it has been reported correctly and fairly.
