51st Wedding Anniversary

    Today is my 51st wedding anniversary. We have had a great life and time together.

    Salty, Thanks for the congratulations. August 12, 1962 was our wedding date and surprisingly to us our a short honeymoon. Why was the honeymoon a surprise? Because we had no money for any extras. We had carefully worked out a budget and knew we could pay the rent and eat and that was all. But my dad gave us $50.00 and the two preachers we had officiate our wedding refused to let us give them $20.00 each. So we were in FAT CITY with $90.00. So off we went for a three our four day honeymoon .... things were much cheaper back then.
