If you allow your wife or daughter to work around men. They are going to to have to overcome the temptation of fornication and adultery. They will go through it. The temptation will arise. More than likely than not.

Now I know you think your wife is solid as a rock and you can trust her with your life. But I have seen it over and over an over even letting your wife talk to other men on the computer is a great risk of something evil coming upon you.

How can it be God's will for the Christian man's wife to sell her time for money and put herself in the position of another man enticing her or the devil enticing her to commit adultery.

How can a Christian man let his daughter associate in the company of heathen men and young men.

You are only asking for trouble.

This ought not be with the women and men of the church.

Jesus Himself had women following with him, and at times part of His group, was he wrong to have them come along?

I find this OP rather amusing. :)

I am reminded of more than one preacher who foamed at the mouth, and raised their children" in a "Christian environment" and saw them shipwreck.

My wife is a Proverbs 31 woman. She and I raised our daughter to be a Proverbs 31 woman.

    I completely trust, both.

Would I step in and correct some heathen hearted person who wanted to violate that trust? - without a doubt.

    Might I make this suggestion.

Rather than trying to put your daughter in a box, ask her if she would agree that before she went out on a date with a young man that he would first call you and ask permission. Communicate trust to her not by restrictions, but by "teaching her the ropes."

That is an old nautical term in which ships had a huge amount of ropes in which the rigging was attached. One who "knew the ropes" was skillful in handling any situation that might impact the ship - be it storm or waves - or both.

A person (especially a woman) who "knows the ropes" won't need your constant oversight, nor will they bring disgrace to the home (on purpose), but will be trusted and capable to handle the tough situations. They will call the captain to the deck when necessary, and will not fear the captain, but show deference and respect.

Rather than putting your wife in a box, show her the respect she deserves by communicating trust, and spend time listening to her - without comment. Let her vent about her work day, and be supportive.

If she loved you enough to marry your sorry self - she deserves the respect of trusting her judgment.

I will tell you something else that is going to happen when you let your wife around the heathen women. TEMPTATION. The heathen women are going to fill the ears of your wife every chance they get ...what she wants to hear and become her friend. Then your troubles will begin.

I have seen this over and over and over. The church is full of divorced and remarried souls just for this very reason.

You guys have to stop responding to this thing. Trolls are like stray cats. You keep feeding them and the will never leave. Stop feeding them and they will look for food elsewhere.

I guess men shouldn't work either, unless they only work with and around other men. Obama would love this, nobody working and dependant on the government.

Yes, I didn't think the Amish were allowed to use the internet. Or do you suppose this guy time traveled from the 19th century?

    Can't be amish.

Here you reveal your belief that God does not speak to our wives and daughters in a fashion in which they can understand and heed. In other words, they aren't led by the Holy Spirit, who is the force and power behind 1 Corinthians 10:13.

This is not the first time this troll has been on this board. It shows up about every 6 months and works hard to get banned. It does not really have any intention of having an actual discussion. It only wants to provoke others.

Are you aware that what you said to me is evil and a sin?

Your heart is far from God.

I have done no evil or harm to you.

Did I say anything about you?

Without cause...none whatsoever you slandered me.

Do you think this is not seen by those in heaven?

    And you called me dumb.

I am far more wise than you.

You can't even stand with me before God.
