Ravi is one of my favorite radio preachers. However, here he misses the ball. He correctly provides the true Biblical foundation of equality of Persons and even admits inequality of positions/roles but fails to consistently follow it through. Indeed, by his own personal example with his wife he repudiates what he claims to be distinctive inequality in positions/roles. He plays politics instead of being consistently faithful to God's Word.

1 Cor. 11:3 demonstrates that such inequality of position is true in the Godhead without denying equality of persons. The Son was in submission to the Father but the Father was not in positional submission to the Son although both equal in Person. The same is true in the home and in the church and should be true in society IN A PERFECT WORLD.

I refer the reader to my post in another thread for a fuller defense of my position.
