The following linked article appeared in today's edition of Prophecy News Watch (free to subscribe to):

Police Raid Home, Seize Children, Of Homeschooling Family in Germany (click this link)

Our own government is currently trying to deport a German family (the Romeikes) currently in the US seeking asylum here so they can freely homeschool their children (which is illegal in Germany).Obama's Justice Dept and Attorney General Eric Holder are contending that homeschooling IS NOT a Constitutionally protected "right"...therefore the Romeike's have no "right" to US asylum for that purpose. The case is set to go before the US Supreme Court. If they are sent back to Germany and try to continue homeschooling (which they do according to their Christian convictions) the plight of the Wunderlich family is probably what they can expect to face. If the Romeike's LOSE their case in the US, that may well have serious implications for American families who view their own homeschooling efforts as not only a Christian duty and conviction, but also a "Constitutional right". Folks...make no mistake about it...we ARE at war and it is a real and spiritually-based war. We need to pray for these folks and also our own families.:tear:

What do ya'll think...(whether you homeschool or not)?

    Blessings,

Our country is disgraceful. Here is a family looking to homeschool their family and their own country has responded to them and others like them as if they were sex trafficking their kids. There is no way on God's green earth that I would live in Germany or even visit their country. What a disgrace.

Homeschooling is one of the greatest blessings I've ever been granted. I'm in my 17th year of homeschooling and I love the benefits even if it IS hard work. My oldest is now a certified art teacher (K-12) and my second child is a senior in college, heading off to do her doctorate next year in audiology. My son is in 8th grade and is showing really strong engineering tendencies and my daughter is in 6th grade and still figuring herself out. :) I have loved being home with them through these years!

I am so ashamed of Eric Holder and the way the German homeschool family has been treated here in the US by him and others. These are the kind of people we WANT to come to this country. I mean, if we're going to open our borders and financially support drug-dealing, uneducated illegal aliens, why not everyone else? These people are not criminals. They are responsible parents.

Oh, that's right. They are teaching their kids to think for themselves instead of dumping them off on the system to be brainwashed by the propaganda machines.

There's something rotten in D.C. and I think people are starting to catch on.
