Military base murders

That's actually pretty easy. There weren't any. Not of significance, anyway. There have always been domestic issues on military bases worldwide, and there have always been instances of one spouse or the other shooting the "better half," either out of self-defense, or out of vengeance.

• Nidal Hasan murdered 12 soldiers and one civilian at the Soldier Readiness Processing Centre, on Nov. 5, 2009.
• Lt. Col. Roy L. Tisdale was shot and killed during a safety briefing at Ft. Bragg June 29, 2012.
• Sgt. John Russell killed five military personnel at Camp Liberty base, near Baghdad International Airport on May 11, 2009.
• Pentagon police officers shot John Patrick Bedell before he managed to kill anyone after he opened fire with a semi-automatic weapon at a security checkpoint on March 4, 2010.
• Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad shot and killed 23-year-old Army Pvt. William A. Long and injured 18-year-old Pvt. Quinton Ezeagwula in a drive-by shooting at a Little Rock, Ark. recruiting office.
• Dean Mellberg was discharged from the U.S. Air Force just weeks before he fatally shot four people at Fairchild Air Force Base hospital, in Washington state, on June 20, 1994.
• Although it didn’t happen on a military base, 22-year-old Sgt. Kenneth Junior French from Fort Bragg military base killed four people and injured eight others at a pizza restaurant just outside Ft. Bragg in 1993. Most of the victims were military personnel, and civilian military employees.

That's pretty much it. I didn't bother trying to list the domestic cases. Didn't think they fit your list requirements.

 

I was fifteen months out of the military after 20 years in when he did that. Lot of friends over at Ft. Riley said, "Nope, can't have my gun." It's nonsense, absolutely.
