All Christians should be Slaves of God but are you? Life is not abut you but about God and God calls you for service and sacrifice. The Bible does not promise an easy life, but forgiveness from sin, eternal life, and persecutions. Yes this is what Jesus promised for those that love him, and true Slaves see this. So are you a slave of God or not? If not explain. Am I preaching Calvinism? No! I am preaching the Bible.

I would be embarrassed for anyone who tried to claim they were who did not post it from a prison somewhere or facing extreme persecution on a daily basis.

American Christians do not know the meaning of the word "persecution".

    Yet.

    The time will come.

Did you read my post? Why did you avoid the question? Regardless to answer your comments lots of Christians are slaves of God if they are not in prison and facing persecution.

Go out and open air on the streets and you will learn.

I'm sorry, but- baloney. Being called names or ignored or spat at is not persecution.

Paul the apostle would laugh at your idea of "persecution".

Here is a picture of me in India with Dr. P.D. Immanuel, his assistant and a Eunich.

In his life time Dr/ Immanuel has planted more than 40 churches in India, He has started 4 orphanages and two Baptist Bible colleges. He not only plants churches but he trains pastors to take those churches.

In his life time he has been beaten and left for dead four times. His life is in a constant state of threat.

Your little measley street preaching neither makes you a salve for God nor persecuted. Your little shallow protected world doesn't even come close. Until you have traveled outside of the states and seen what real sacrifice is from Christians you have no idea. And street preaching in America does not even come close.

In Mexico I had the honor of working with a pastor and wife who were stoned and shot at several times (while riding their motorbike) for preaching the gospel in the mountains of Mexico. I'll never forget seeing his scars and him showing me the exact place where it happened- as well as meeting the men who did it- who are now members of his church!

Then why are you not open air preaching? Have you ever had the experience?

Is this about MacArthur's book about the word slave verses servant? Tough to have one word sustain an entire book.

I am not saying its the same as what they experience, however if street preaching was so easy why are you not doing it? You talk with a large ego and bring insult to all open air preachers in every state.

You should really learn to respect your elders. Perhaps that is one reason you cannot stay employed?

Seriously, you have made a GOD out of street preaching, WOTM, Ray Comfort and MacArthur.

They are not the "be all to end all" of how Gospel work is to be done.

Oh, and by the way neither are you.

    Or I.

It's kind of hard to tell on an internet forum- LOL. Apology not necessary but accepted nonetheless.

Uh the ego is yours thinking that your street preaching makes you a "slave of God" and you somehow are experiencing persecution. And I do not street preach because it is a waste of time in our culture.

So how many people have you led to the Lord and then discipled this year?

I have stayed employed for the last 6 years. 2 Years while a student at a university. 2.5 years at another company until the company did massive layoffs in Dec 2011, and 1.2 years at my last job until I RELOCATED to another state.

Since that time I worked at a beer factory out of my foolishness and I quit. I did a temporary position at a hospital which was only to last a month and I got let go from my last position for not being a good fit for the environment which had lots of sinful activities.

No I wont be a fit everywhere nor are my skills a match everywhere. But I have had lots of calls and interviews. The key is to look and look until I fins the right fit. I have been let go in the past. Sometimes for my stupidity, and other times for the companies problem. But the trick is persistence.
