I dont like it. It took too long to load on my mac, and the colors and fonts look bad. I suggest you take allot around at other sites and get ideas. You need better fonts, colors, and the like. Perhaps if you have the money hire a web designer.

That is a tad confusing. The load time according to Webmasters tools are blazing. What kind of connection speed do you have?

As far as the colors, that is subjective. I am going for something completely different, and memorable. If I wanted to look like everyone else, I guess I could get a web designer.

Thanks for the input. I guess you and I have very different taste!

IMO too much yellow. Blue writing on bottom hard to see. Ever thought of using Wordpress? I'm using Vista Print 4.99 a month web pages for our youth website. Easy to use, several of templates.

The blue writing on the bottom is supposed to be impossible to read. They are embedded links, that improve Search Engine rating.

Not a fan of Wordpress. Not a fan of templates, either.

No one likes yellow but me? LOL.

The site is meant to be cartoony, campy, and different.

The color on the site are not attractive and makes it hard on the eyes. As someone with exprience building web sites I can say that it will prohibit many visitors.

For instance the colors on BB are such that are both pleasing and easy on the eyes. Blues and earth tones are great. The dark colors are often found on sites for gaming and such and the youth seem to like it. But the older folks get the harder it is on the eyes.

In the end it is just ugly.

    Another yellow hater. :p

I think Baptist Board looks old and antiquated, not "easy on the eyes."

Sigh, I guess no one else likes "bright and energetic" but me...

True, but the site is still in development. I just looked around, to find the kind of stuff I like...found this.:

Actually, I think you did a good job, it is attractive.

I watched your videos in the past. You are a nice looking fellow, that goes over well, your daughter is a real cutie.

Now I'm going to say something that hurts. I have been in many bands in my life and there are a lot of musicians who believe they are far more talented than they actually are. You can watch shows like X Factor and easily see that.

You are not nearly as funny as you think you are. Not saying you can't be funny, but you need some practice. Don't try too hard, comedy can't be forced.

That was meant as constructive criticism. You are very likable, with practice you could be truly funny. All comedians had to work at it, it is a real skill.

But religion and comedy do not mix well. I have never sensed comedy when I read of Jesus or Paul or any of the prophets. Eternal salvation or damnation is a very serious subject.

Of course, believing Calvinism is total error makes me see your site in bad light. Now, if you were teaching correct theology I would like your site a lot better.

Viewing on my phone. Generally speaking I don't like a black background. I'd rather have white. Easier to read, easier on the eyes.

I'm OK with the yellow, not wild about it, just OK. If you went to a white background the yellow probably wouldn't work. Maybe a white background with a pastel lime green instead of yellow, if you want a different look.

I know you want feedback but perhaps BB isn't your target audience and are a bunch of old fogies. :)

    Thanks.

That doesn't hurt at all. I don't think I am particularly funny. I am just an idiot, and that makes people laugh sometimes.

If your saying the show doesn't work, though, and isn't humorous, with that I would disagree with you. I have gotten an enormous amount of unsolicited positive feedback, from a whole lot of strangers, that gain nothing by writing me a letter.

If you were talking about the pulpit, I would agree with you. I do not intentionally joke from the pulpit. However, everything in creation is designed to point to Christ, and so humor is certainly no different.

Arminian doctrine....now THAT is true comedy. :p

Looks Great...don't take the criticism in here to serious. They are just jealous.

As time goes by you may see more kinks and iron them out.

As far as your apparel shop, I'm not thinking some of the shirts messages are wise, especially the 'If You Think Killing People Is a Fundamental Right I Say We Start With You'

Yes I understand it is to be offensive. Which isn't Biblical by the way.

It also brings up memories of those who kill abortion Doctors, and the shirt is tied to Christianity. The Westboro type.

It's cute, but why are you putting everything in boxes? That's what is messing up the visuals. There's no reason for stuff not to just pop out on the page.
The banner, even the buttons on the side would look more like the mood you said you were thinking of if they looked like they were stamped or slid onto the page rather than boxed in. You trying to be out of the box or not? You have to tie the emotion in with the visual when it comes to graphics if you want your words to speak.
In the word "flavor," the use of two graphics might be somewhat overwhelming. Consider taking the bacon out of it, leaving the egg, and using the bacon as an exclamation point at the end of "never politically correct" if you'd still really like to keep it within the banner. However, if you want a visual logo, you may want to get rid of it altogether and instead, take that opportunity to insert a logo instead. Perhaps a flavorful cup of cappuccino with CF written in the foam. Something you can easily take and put on other parts of the site and that people can easily identify with your site and products should the website grow, and mini logos of it can be used as buttons to set up later links to other portions of the site or as bullets, which help tie the page together without the page looking messy from adding too many other visuals.

    K. I know I have already found a bunch of "kinks"!

I disagree. Paul said the circumcision party should go on an emasculate themselves. Jesus deliberately stooped down and scooped mud to rub in a man's eyes, to heal him, just to "rub it in the face" of Pharisees who had silly unbiblical traditions regarding the sabbath.

Satire, deliberate offense of evil, and even cutting sarcasm is seen throughout the Bible, even from Jesus Himself.

Quit getting your vision of Jesus and Christianity from the Hallmark channel.

My friend, it is called sarcasm. It is made to make people go, "Oh, wait, that IS stupid..."

The kind of PC complaints that you are voicing, is EXACTLY the kind of unbiblical silliness I am trying to push back against. Lighten up, and quit finding offense in everything.

Try red and white. Blue is overdone. Maybe crimson or a variation there of. Note green is overdone also. Yellow with black lettering should only be used as a sign because they are the most vividly.
