That's probably the best analysis of this clown's "political career" I've ever seen in print -- or cyberspace, as the case may be. Greenfield is exactly right. The Great Pretender isn't good at anything except conflict. He doesn't avoid conflict, he cultivates it, because conflict is the only thing he knows how to do. It enables him to take complex, mountainous policy discussions that he doesn't understand, doesn't even try to understand, and reduce them to "them vs. us" discussions that rally the troops and opens the wallets.

But in the end, he accomplishes nothing except division, strife, and polarity. And ultimately, ignorance. His stagnant-ship (as opposed to "leadership," something he hasn't a clue about or an aspiration to) leads nowhere, opens no vistas, trains no successors, inspires no next generations. All it does is teach 12-second soundbites that demonize the opposition, denigrate their intellect, fragment the public, and ruin the nation. Anarchy and stupidity is all he will ever manage to teach anyone, as they mindlessly parrot his illiterate sociopolitical "theories" without realizing they have achieved nothing of substance or form, only managed destruction and failure. But then, that's what the left -- the entire socialist and communist movements -- have done for 200 years: Accomplish nothing but utter defeat and ruin. That is all they will ever produce.

It had not occurred to me that his "foundational program" -- the ACA -- was nothing more than a knee-jerk response to that political gathering he spoke at six years ago, in which he endorsed single-payer universal healthcare. I'm sure that is exactly what prompted him to resurrect an idea dead in the water with the Clintons 14 years earlier. When he left the event that evening, he must have been stricken with panic realizing he now had to design such a system in order to be seen as a visionary, rather than as a hack "activist" (a term that actually describes someone on an irrational rant who gets paid for it) with no real set of ideas.

And half of the electorate allowed the media to lead them by the nose to the voting booth to cast a vote for an idiot. It would be surprising if we didn't see another historical figure, Vladimir Illyich Lenin, who was able to convince millions that he had a plan, a vision, when all he had was a mad thirst for power, or more accurately, like the Great Pretender, a desire to see his opponents fail without having a clue as to how to govern after replacing them.

I hate to say this, but if you voted for this pretender to greatness, you haven't any reason to complain about what you got. Because, believer it or not, despite all the energies you've wasted, all the posts you've made defending his sheer arrogant stupidity, nothing is exactly what you got.

    From the article:
The Soviet Union could not make its agricultural policies work, but it spent enormous efforts convincing its own people and the West that those policies were working even when bread was being filled with straw and the USSR was going deep into debt buying American wheat.

Confronted with a website that didn’t work, Team Obama immediately spun straw into bread declaring that it had gone down because ObamaCare was so popular. It was a familiar narrative shift that once again put the best possible face on a disaster.
Think of this when reading CrabtownMarxist's posts.
