    1) Councilwoman Elisa Chan, who allegedly called homosexuality "disgusting"
That is not hate speech - that is calling imorality what it is: SIN!

    2) The govt shutdown was brought on by NEITHER party agreeing

    3) It appears he supports illegal immrigation

    4) Obama care is NOT Constituational - - At the Federal level.

oh, I just love this statemet of the judge:
"As the smallest minds continue to make the loudest noise in the Republican Party",

Could be these "small minds" will get our govt back where it should be.

If she's a Christian, she needs to make sure she clarifies that all sin is just as disgusting.

More like it was brought on by both parties agreeing that they felt the country needed another Act of divine comedy produced and starred in by both houses of Congress.

He's a liberal minded at heart.

    The SCOTUS didn't address that?

Naah. Too many small minds are orchestrating things to go just as they are.

In other words, he doesn't want anyone to be heard who disagrees with his viewpoint.

Yet the Bible calls homsexuality an abomination

The shutdown could have been avoided if the Democrats had comprimised.

So what other laws - does the good judge deem he does not need to enforce (Think DOMA)

You are correct - the problem here is that for the past century, congress and the SCOTUS has been voiding States/Commonwealth rights.

These are just folks that realize that govt should be simple.

    Mr

The shutdown was ENTIRELY due to the Republican party's refusal to accept a 4 year old law passed by both houses of Congress, signed by the President and upheld by the Supreme Court. You must be attempting to live in a parallel universe. Accept reality. ObamaCare IS constitutional. The Supreme Court decides this NOT YOU.

It calls a lot of things abomination.

Could have been avoided if the GOP had compromised too.

Something about his tone says that he probably was already a liberal minded Democrat at heart, but simply wearing an elephant pin.

Yippee! The Republican party needs to be purged of these infanticidal sodomites. Hope she takes a third of them with her.

This is a cheap hat trick.

Judge Carlo makes his case on the following bogus points -

    1. That the Republican party "has left him" by suddenly not supporting gay marriage. Really??!! That is the "new change" in the Republican party??? Seriously?? Judge Carlo thinks his viewers are so stupid as to imagine that being against gay marriage is something "new" for the Republican party after supposedly being solidly in favor of it all these years? Who takes that wild idea seriously?

This is a political stunt on his part - he clearly does not expect that part to be taken seriously. The Republican party has been against gay marriage for as long as it has been an issue up for vote. Clearly it is Judge Carlo who has "left" the Republican part for "the left".

    2. Judge Carlo claims that the "Republicans" voted to shut down the government rather than be stuck with Obama-cares-to-Tax-America?. Really? Was it the "Republicans" that were constantly voting DOWN measures to FUND the government???

That "did not happen in real life" Judge Carlo - and we all know it. Republicans were composing measure after measure to fully FUND the government - Democrats kept voting NO to those fund-the-government proposals because THEY would rather have NO GOVERNMENT than lose their obama-cares-to-tax-America initiative.

And they even went to the EXTREME of saying NO to AMERICA and its government rather than have ALL Obama-cares-to-tax-America apply TO everyone AND THEM. No they insisted that we have the full Obama-cares-to-tax-America applies to ALL EXCEPT the law makers that pass it. In true Chicago mob politics fashion.

    3. Judge Carlo then tells us that just as Republicans "suddenly turn" to not like gay marriage - so they also have turned against race and creeds. Really? Where did that happen Judge Carlo?

Oh wait - you did not expect to be taken seriously on that one either. It was just "another" political stunt!

    4. There is a "Reason" for this political hack ad against Republicans - and it is that the DNC has decided to make a play for Texas - because if Texas will turn democrat - then there is a chance that no Republican party victory will ever happen for President.

Oh no wait a minute - I think on that point Judge Carlo may be expecting to be taken seriously. But that is the only point - and he was not making it so everyone could see that this was the real agenda.

    How sad.

Carlo is playing to the Hispanic population, hoping to get them to abandon the Republicans, which in Texas have a sold base of Hispanic voters. It's like trying to bring down the Hoover Dam with a ball peen hammer and half-inch masonry chisel. Hispanics are successful businessmen and -women in Texas. They know which side their bread is buttered on, and they make for good employment opportunities for other Hispanics, who also know about bread and butter. Nice try, Carlo, but "epic fail."

Scary. Judge Key considers calling homosexuality “disgusting” as hate speech. While I would agree that secular justice should be served without prejudice and discrimination, this judge is – in effect – catering to his own prejudice. If one finds homosexuality revolting they should be denied the right to voice their disgust or be guilty of hate speech.

The judge is not being honest. The GOP has never supported homosexuality.

And this so called war within itself is nothing knew for any party. However, what he is doing is parroting the DNC talking points. There is more going on here than he is really telling everyone.

Hopefully, HOPEFULLY, this just may be the beginning of a cleansing of the R ranks.
Now if all the other RINOs would follow the pied piper then perhaps there would be a slim chance for sanity to creep back into government.

    Ain't holding my breath though!
