Has There Been a Rise in Spiritual Activity?

people are tuning into allthose reality paranormal tv shows, as interested in the Occult/supernatural...

NOT a good thing though, as being diverted away from the right supernatural, God!

 

Just the facts, OK?

1. All paranormal research is subjective, which is to say its prone to misreporting -- even when its not intended to be misreported.
2. Science relies on the ability for anyone to follow the procedure and then in turn get the same results (provided that they did it right,) yet this isn't so with paranormal research, results seem to differ depending on who's doing it.
3. Paranormal research big business -- after all, fools will buy anything.
4. The differences between ghost hunters and swindlers are slight, the main difference being that swindlers don't talk about ghosts.

Paranormal research is much like trying to figure out who in the room farted. That suspicion relies on the five senses (especially smell), yet anyone who's been in this situation knows that people lie, and the only way to really prove it is to make a fart detecting machine. Paranormal researchers have adopted this idea, so they use many tools in attempt to explain all of the things they are claim to detect. These tools include EVP readers, EMF detectors, heat signature guns, and even psychics who claim to "talk" to the "ghost." Most look silly, though some (excluding the psychics) have actual scientific value -- just not to detect "ghosts." None of them have been definitive answers in explaining the paranormal, because they are not immune to tampering, and neither is the rest of the "evidence."

I'm absolutely certain Satan and his minions can convince people of anything, including ghosts, goblins and things that go "bump" in the night. In that sense, perhaps, and only in that sense, "paranormal" activity exists, but then it wouldn't be "paranormal," would it? It would just be Satan acting like Satan, correct? The rest is just bunk.

 

Would say that probably 90-95 % of ALL so called paranormal activity just bunk, for ratingsand money, but stil a small part real, just misunderstood by non Christians!

 

There are, for sure, things that go "bump" in the night.

While living in Southern California back in the early 50's my mother and I witnessed what could best be described as UFO's. As memory serves me there were perhaps 10 or so lights, very high in the sky, flying a bit erratically and soon moved on out of sight.

Thirty some years ago my wife and I were driving down a rural road in Eastern North Carolina (2:30/3:00 AM) and in the head lights I saw what at first appeared to be a black bear crossing the road in front of us. By the time I got stopped for a better look, it appeared to be just a black fog drifting across the road. No bear. Just a black fog. Odd. I've never witnessed a black fog before.

UFO's; paranormal activity; ghosts; big foot; etc., certainly. Why not? To me it's all part of that Great Deception. Paul was caught up to the 3rd Heaven so it would appear that our three dimensional world certainly limits our awareness for sure. Interesting to watch on TV though.

All of us have struggled with a specific problem over the years only to finally figure out how to overcome said "specific problem". All of a sudden everything falls into place and we're astounded to see..., why we didn't "see it before". Often it can be a bit embarrassing as most of us consider ourselves smarter than Lassie but dumber than a box of rocks.

I would think that once we've "given up the ghost" we'll come to see and certainly understand..., why we never saw it all before! We'll be embarrassed all over again.
