Featured Senator Rand Paul Is Accused of Plagiarizing

Unlike liberals conservative do not just blindly defend these kinds of things. But you are welcome to taunt all you want. I just realized my ignore list needs to get a bit longer.

 

Excerpted from Rare: MSNBC host Rachel Maddow created headlines this week when she alleged that Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) had plagiarized a recent speech from Wikipedia, but it turns out the liberal cable news host has been accused of plagiarism herself.

In 2010 on his blog “Open Salon,” Michael Rodgers of North Port, Fla., wrote a blog post titled “Rachel Maddow Plagiarized My Blog!”

Being accused of plagiarism is one thing being accused of plagiarism by a plagiarist is a whole nuther horse of a different color. Shame on Rand Paul for plagiarism and shame on his accusers for plagiarism and hypocrisy.

Rand Paul copied someone else's homework? A scandal? Well shame on him.

Can you democrats find something in Rand Paul's closet that even comes close to Obama's numerous scandals?

Benghazigate? IRSgate? Millions losing their healthcare insurance, Obamacaregate? Running guns to Mexican drug cartels? Funding and arming Islamic extremists in Libya and Syria? Handing over trillions to crooked private bankers? NSAgate? Purging the military? Supporting the Muslim Brotherhood? The TPP?

Am I leaving anything out? It's hard to keep track Obama is the first president (that I know of) to cover up one scandal by creating another.

 

If he did it, then he was wrong. But the explanation I've heard casts doubt on the claim that he did it. So I will neither defend nor condemn him.

I would still vote for him.

 

No one's perfect. There are more important things affecting this nation and Rand is on the right side of them. Let's move on.

 

They can't move on. They're already committed to it.

However, as stated earlier, power is a drug, one which the so-called “left” has been hooked on since the Obama Administration took its seat in the White House. While the Republicans have much to answer for (the Bush years are a nightmarish example), it is the Democratic Party, and those who blindly identify with it, that must be addressed today. It is they who are now directly feeding the elitist machine, giving it momentum, and aiding in the destruction of the American economy and culture. It is their madness and thirst for control that is being exploited by the establishment to demonize legitimate activists who seek Constitutional transparency (the only people in this country today who understand the bigger picture and who the real enemies are) thus undermining any chance our society has for a free and prosperous future.

A new propaganda theater has exploded in mainstream media outlets and the liberal side of the blogosphere spectrum. This initiative centers on a not so subtle attempt to connect “Tea Party Conservatives” (basically lumping all people who espouse limited government ideals and constitutional principles under one easy to marginalize label) to any and all of our nation's fiscal and political problems. The debt ceiling debate has added a new dimension to this defamation program, sending leftist talking heads into a bloodthirsty frenzy akin to a Bolshevik street mob. Constitutional conservatives have been compared to “extremists”, “separatists”, “new southern confederates”, “traitors”, “saboteurs”, and “domestic enemies of the United States”. Here is just a sample of the MSM hate parade:

Then why do you sound and act like one?

No really, the dems want desperately to distract us from reality and paint the "tea party" as traitors and extremists and you seem to get very uncomfortable anytime a little bit of reality starts to sneak into one of the false MSM debates like this "huge" Rand Paul scandal of your's.

Rand Paul isn't perfect but he's at least got the courage to take a stand for what made this country great. That's the "real" crime he's guilty of here. Compared to the crimes the elite on both sides have committed against this nation and humanity this shouldn't even be worthy of a footnote.

Who's the one doing all the diverting, distracting and deflecting around here? You are.

 

An interesting comparison is to put the two US Senators from Kentucky side by side to analyze their stance on issues and voting records. There is a much, much wider gap between Paul and McConnell, than McConnell and Reid.
