Give Fla history that is they do not stay patient for losing seasons and a recent example with Zook I am suggesting that he may not last long.

Fla fans refer to Zook's tenure as the dark years.

Unless they somehow beat FSU, he's gone -- unless he can somehow blame the injuries. Tough for them to be #4 in the state.

Losing to Missouri didn't help, but that's looking more palatable all the time now, as the season progresses. But Vandy?? I hear there's a run on tar, feathers and rails in Gainsville.

I think he will be given another year. That 8 million dollar buy out might be more than Florida wants to pay at this time.

This is the SEC. I don't think they'll flinch at a big buy-out. Winning is everything.

Yep, winning is everything. It is true that Fla has had large injuries this year, but I still think they have had the talent to win more. I believe there has been a serious coaching issue.

I don't think the AD want to admit he made a mistake at this point as well as the money.
Many of us aren't happy that they didn't bring Steve back when they brought Urban Meyer in.

Steve would not come back. They had no choice. Urban was a good thing for Fla. Muschamp might stay around for another year but I do not think it will stop the inevitable.

Steve would have come back, he wouldn't fill out a resume, he said those SEC Championship Trophies was his resume.

And national title. If that is true he is right. My understanding was he didn't really want to come back.

Not only that but GS did not complete one single pass today and still beat Fla. This is worse than when Zook coached.

However, according to a report from the Orlando Sun-Sentinel, the school has no plans to fire the coach and he will return in the 2014 season to see if he can improve things with a healthy roster.

The report did indicate that while Muschamp will be back, there will need to be some significant changes made to the staff. In particular, I would expect that offensive coordinator Brent Pease won’t be returning. The Gators offense struggled even without the injuries.

The offensive has been bad all year, but the D wasn't much this week end.
When you pay a school $550,000 to come in and lose to you and they beat you, that tell us something is wrong.

Anyone remember the last guy who was said to have the "one thousand percent" confidence of the one who held his fate in his hand?

Hint: His name was Tom Eagleton.
