A couple of nights ago at the end of his broadcast, O'Reilly read an e-mail saying that Scripture was a better history book than O'Reilly's door prop entitled Killing Jesus.

Offended by this, O'Reilly said that The Holy Bible was not a history book but a theological book. Does anyone doubt in the least that O'Reilly is totally religious left?

I'd say a bully and a unregenerate wannabee theologian. I do agree with him on most political issues but I wish he would stop with all his religious opinions.

    Nope.

Only religiously. He's a conservative politically. Not sure that makes any difference in my opinion of him, though.

When it comes to the Bible, Bill has always been clueless. If the bible isn't a history book then I wonder where he got his information on killing Jesus.

Yep, Bill needs to quit bloviating about subjects of which his knowledge is limited. Otherwise he comes across as a poltroon when he pontificates.

".... It is up to the individual's faith as to whether the man, Jesus, was also the Son of God. That conclusion is left up to the reader. The authors do not try to sway the reader one way or the other. Again, this is a historical accounting not religious.

Five stars. And put me in the column of Son of God."

The book has been well received.

By a "Christian" nation that does not understand what it "believes" ...

    Not impressive.

Seems to be the case with a lot of the on-air-conservative personalities.

Neal Boortz was the same way. You'd be right with him and then he'd start talking about religion and you'd have to turn him off.

I'd like to know how one distinguishes between a worldly regenerate and an unregenerate worldling. :)

I've found it's best not to listen or watch the double minded for they are unstable in all their ways.

Why would I trust the advice of someone who gets it right when it comes to politics but is 100%wrong when it comes to eternity?

If you're not aligned with Jesus, you cna keep every bit of info you're putting forth as far as I'm concerned.

That's my viewpoint. First of all, when O'Reilly says that The Holy Bible is a theological book that is doubletalk because The Holy Bible is a collection of books and not a single book as O'Reilly said.

As far as I am concerned, O'Reilly is in it just for the money.
