It appears that Zimmerman has finally shown to all of us, that he may be a wacko with a love for firearms and the need to bully others!

At least, he has proven one thing with all the trouble he's gotten into since being found not guilty for Trayvon, and that is he does not bully just blacks.

I can imagine that some on the jury had wished they voted to convict! Nevertheless, like OJ, those that have a cloud of trouble constantly over their head, the law eventually catches up with them, and they will pay the fiddler one way or another!

Some people will pay for their sins against mankind at the Great White Throne Judgment; others do begin to pay here on earth, and for the Martin family, this is a small consolation, but it is still a solace of gigantic proportions!

RD, that post was wrong, and ignored certain facts. We all knew he was a bully who liked to carry a gun. What we don't know, and may never know, is whether he was legally justified in defending himself--but a jury said he was.

What you're citing above is proof that he's a bully who likes guns; it doesn't affect the legal decision of his trial in any way.

Exactly. You cannot determine past guilt by a present action.

I don't care if Zimmerman is a card-carrying member of the KKK, he was the victim in the event that garnered so much attention.

Or, he may be showing the stress of being unjustly accused by an overzealous prosecution, the drawn-out period of time that brought him uncertainty of his future, and the continued belligerency of the nutty left and the civil rights industry who remain "convinced" (not really, but they have to appear so) he is guilty of murdering Trayvon Martin.

That is not to excuse his behavior, only to explain it. He needs mental health assistance, and I pray he gets it. It isn't for us to judge his past or present guilt. That has been done once, in the Martin case, but has yet to be done in the case of the alleged assault on his girlfriend. Let's not rush to judgment.

    This is a fact....thanks!

All of you are spot on! And maybe he's showing PTSD, but, wouldn't you try to stay out of the public spotlight?

Of course, what we don't know is if the new girlfriend and father are piggybacking on Zimmerman to get into the spotlight too!

Still, I think the majority of us on this board, would do our very best to stay as far away from trouble as possible. He's been stopped at least twice for exceeding the speed limits, and the run ins with his ex wife and new girlfriend continue to put him front and center!

I am not saying he didn't have the right to stand his ground....I am just saying that he has demomstrated that he is a troubled individual, and that has to have played into the Trayvon Martin event more than the jury was led to believe!

As always, it is my opinion. None of you have to like it; agree with it; or give me a fist bump! I appreciate your feedback, however, I think that had I seen this recent side of him, and I were on that jury, I'd have second thoughts!

If he doesn't get a grip on his life, he will be spending time in the gray bar hotel, and that will be a shame; because his skeptics will say he deserved just what he finally got. What goes around does come around! :tear:

    The....

....infamous "Deadman's hand!" If he doesn't pull himself together, history will begin to think he was guilty and the verdict was a fluke!

If that were you, wouldn't you try to establish yourself as a good citizen? He can't be that dumb? The media is scanning the newswires for his name to appear, and they have crews just waiting to travel to where his name pops up to make a negative story of it, because like it or not, the media, thanks to Hollywood, still sides with Trayvon. I just watched an ad for the AMA and how Trayvon's memory was going to be honored - https://www.msnbc.com/politicsnation/macklemore-ryan-lewis-honor-trayvon-martin

Zimmerman needs someone to work with him and help him avoid women, drugs, alcohol and anything else that could put him in a negative light! He has shown, like it or not, that maybe he is the aggressor prosecution made him out to be? And that does a disservice to anyone in the future who may have to stand their ground, and not do it out of any other reason than fear for his or her life!

With the constant death threats from liberals and having to go into hiding I can see why one might own some guns and ammo.

George Zimmerman's girlfriend says he doesn't pose a threat to her, document says

    http://www.cnn.com/2013/12/09/justice/george-zimmerman-girlfriend/

George Zimmerman's girlfriend is asking a Seminole County court to lift a no-contact provision against Zimmerman so the couple can "talk and be together," according to a court document obtained by CNN on Monday.

However, in the court document dated Friday, Scheibe indicates she does not want to press charges against Zimmerman and says he "never pointed a gun at or toward my face in a threatening manner."

Happens all the time in DV cases. If the judge follows normal procedure, he'll simply turn prosecution over to the state, though without her cooperation, it could prove a difficult sell to a jury, if he wants to press it that far.
