Appearing on ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos, former senior White House adviser David Plouffe made the awkward comment that Americans “trust this president.” He admitted that it had been a “tough patch” for President Obama in the wake of the exposing of his lies about Obamacare and his disastrous Iran deal.

Trust him to do what?? Run this country into the ground, surrender it to socialism and celebrate its newly found status as a third-rate power?? Yeah, I trust him to do that.

How can we trust anything this administration says?

Yesterday evening we heard crowing from them that 750,000 had accessed the health exchange site.

This morning we hear that many who thought they had signed up for a plan may have fallen through the glitch cracks in the software.

    AKA: Lost in Cyberspace.

I trusted Bush to do exactly the wrong thing when it came to foreign affairs ... and he did.

Coming soon to a theater near you, starring William Hurt, Mimi Rogers, Matt LeBlanc and Heater Graham.

Oh, wait. Wrong movie. This one might be a better story though, if Ron Howard directs.

Nothing. It's the same old socialist trick: When you have nothing of value to say, blame Bush.

    Mr

Absolutely. Bush was the worst president in history. He got us into two meaningless wars that murdered hundreds of thousands on innocent people and doubled the national debt in the process.

I am no Bush fan. I voted against the first Bush, and voted for the second one with a clothes pin on my nose. However, your characterization of Bush 2 is way out of line. He is no where near the worst President. His one big mistake was the war in Iraq. The war in Afghanistan was justified, based on 9/11. Yes, he was part of creating the national debt to date. He also had a Democrat Congress that helped him along.

The difference between you and me is, if I think Bush was a lousy President, it is because he was too liberal and compromising of Democrats. Now, lets look at some of the positive things Bush 2 did. First of all, he nominating two excellent justices to the Supreme Court, which will impact this nation for decades on the side of good and the Constitution. Bush proposed Social Security and Medicare reform, which you Democratic Congress rejected. Bush was not responsible for the economic collapse of 2008. That was decades in the making. George Bush, most of all, lead this nation through its worse crisis in history, an attack on our shores that killed thousands. He protected this nation from further terror attacks, and for that, you give him no credit.

He also restored respect to the Presidency. He was not sitting in the Oval Office playing "lets smoke the cigar." In my lifetime alone, I can think of the following Presidents that were worse: Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama. Even Richard Nixon, the worst of the Republicans, had the dignity and respect for the office to know when to resign and do the right thing. In fact, in my life the only two I would rate higher than Bush 2 are Truman and Kennedy.

So, did you pass high school history class?
